swapping headphones like that doesn't solve the issue properly because then the channels are on the wrong ears for stereo sound! Sounds coming from the right of the screen will come from the left of the screen instead!!!!
That was my thought too, its not an obvious solution because you'll have inverted audio - but these headphones can actually be used this way as the mic flipping over actually swaps audio channels (at least i read that on reddit, so it could be horseshit as well knowing that website) but in any case idk why caedrel acts as if thats obvious, because in my experience (as a musician who's owned countless headphones and tested many headsets), this seems to be a very rare feature.

They are wearing 300€ headsets that are designed to have side selectable mics, there's most definitely a built-in solution
