I second that notion!! There's another creator who I've mentioned LOTR builds to, but he hasn't acted on it (yet), so you should capitalize on it!! Lol
Building without mods I have to do some wonky stuff to make it work. If I start off with the pillar I actually want placed they can obstruct placement of certain pieces.

I got to ask why start with reinforced pillars, why not directly use the kind of pillar you will replace them with?

Those are "struts" which is part of the Riders of Hyboria DLC.
