depends! it could be argued that you can learn better on a smaller displacement bike, as you can become comfortable with getting all of the power out of a smaller bike with less risk. To go fast on smaller bikes means that you have to become a more analytical rider, to exploit all of the bikes speed given the smaller engines power limitations. But it seems like too few track riders appreciate this theory though, so many have their egos wrapped up in maximum cc displacement/horsepower...
jdwm to me that sounds like you just have to quit being fearful ... to do all of what you're saying you have to take more risk ... big bikes allow less risk to be taken but still be moderately fast...
Finally a video that isn't plastered with "smackdown" all over it. However, when curves come into the equation, we are all shown what money cannot buy -- skill. I wish that stunnerway had your bikes.
No kidding? I'll definitely look into that. There's a track that's not far from me at all. I feel like my riding has improved but I just don't feel safe pushing it too hard on the streets......I hear you can learn alot from a track day
The best bike is the one you like, 99% of riders aren't going to be able to push their bikes anywhere close to what they can do anyways so it doesn't really matter.
Great video brother. Guess the dog didn't make the cut for the thumb nail haha. I really been wanting to try the track. I definitely need to do it soon. There one in Nc I keep hearing about might have to try it.
Looking good through Turn #1 and your lines are cleaning up nicely... after watching this, I might have to get me a Yamaha! R6 or R1--I'd be happy with either one on the track!
I bought my 600cc with the intention to make it a track bike. It's quick, light and cheap so I wouldn't mind laying it down as I learn and push my limits more and more. Once I run that bike as far as it can go I'll be going for a 750 next.
The best bike to ride at the track is the one you can afford to crash and repair/replace. Yamaha R6 or GSX-R600 rule track days for a reason. Gixxer squids provide a near endless supply of used parts, and the R6 is probably the most supported track day bike out there.
I'd love to have a 675R, but I heard parts are expensive and iffy things on reliability. I've also heard they are great bikes right out of the box, but tougher to setup for strict track/race duty when pushing for every second.
The bigger bike might be more of a rush and give you better track times in larger tracks. Smaller bikes are easier to throw around turns and it's always fun to go full open for what feels like all the time.
Nice video!! I will definitely be purchasing me a 600cc motorcycle to start on the track. But once I get comfy I would love to put Ms Lisa Bonet on the track to unleash the S1Ks full potential in a controlled environment.
good job 650ib. love the track day vids. if you see in the comments. " ur smack downs suck. take that to the track ". tell them to stick it. lololol. I hope you have a great summer and I look forward to seeing more content. Trevor. Seattle Washington
Keep up the good work. Really enjoy your videos. You're just a regular family guy who is passionate about bikes so most of us can relate to you. Are you in Ohio or Michigan? Used to live in Columbus back in the day.
AxlR Axlrp IB welcomes all and everyone is a buddy !! he's good dude .. I haven't even met him yet .. but by watching his videos u can tell he just a genuinely nice guy
Have you ever been in a motorcycle accident? If so, how long ago was it? Maybe you could make a video talking about it. Thanks again for a great upload!
why would you exactly removed the ignition? plus wouldn't it be easier for someone to take if no security system? no steering lock? what benefits would this have
Every time I watch you guys run this track I get that perverted speed racer sound track playing in my head. I guess I have R1 kelly to thank for that. lol Looks like a fun day.
if your plan is to win races, 1000cc is my recommendation. If I'm racing to win as in "all or nothing, go big or go home, I want my 1st place prize and trophy", I'd without hesitation pick the 2014 s1000rr.
It seems like it's more about your gifted carbon fiber wheels and your good buddies trailer than anything. ;) I'm surprised that your good buddy is already on the track with only 88 miles on his engine. I wonder how that will affect its durability - I've heard a lot of stories of riders blowing their new engines at the track because they didn't allow for a proper break-in.
I love Mr.650ib video hoping I could meet him and race him and the fast Cleveland boy on the track next year but this year race him on the track for my b-day soon in August the h2sx is coming soon and h2sxse
650ib how do they do in performance comparative to the others? I know they all talk numbers but you’ve owned and ridden enough to formulate an actual opinion.
zx10rDragon depends on the size of the circuit. if you are on a small 2 mile track with more turns than straight denotes that a smaller more agile bike would be more beneficial for most riders. every rider is different. on a larger track, 3+ miles with longer straights, a larger bike would be quicker generally but it depends on the rider's ability to keep up pace. pace is where the time gets shaved off. depends on the track and rider. however, there is the reason premiere class MotoGP, WSBK, Moto America, FIM Endurance and IOMTT are 1000cc, because they are faster, more powerful and have quicker laps times...on the professional level.
although true , it can be track and rider dependant but totally agree lap times would show the difference and could determine which is better for that rider (if its the same rider that is)
if your corner speed is similar around the track but the track has couple long straights than of course can take away a couple seconds on the 1000cc... which doesn't mean ur a better / faster rider
I honestly think if you can't put the 600 to it's limits on the track ... than u have no reason for a 1000cc for the track ... however .. if you are just out having fun and you are a good rider on the 600 .. I don't see a problem riding a 1000 here and there as it will help you when you move back to the 600cc ..
Haters gonna hate lol. I see a lot of bad comments. This dude doesn't have to post videos, you don't have to watch them or comment lmao. 650ib is the best MotoVlog I have watched. Need to make a trip through Louisville:) 01 YZF-R1 motor worked to1100 among others:)
hi im a biker and i dont have bike in U.S,,,! and but how would i suppose can get a motor bike liscence i know that's just dumb to ask a Question like that.... but i want it to get one quicker as possible !
Thinking about getting the 675 Daytona which do you think is better for guys our weight? The 675 or the R6/gsxr 600 r? Not really liking the look of the Honda 600
You can ride track with your camera on your lid? USA laws are much easier than UK ones! I started track days last year and run a 750 which is great but I'll run a 1000 next...
Hey 650, just got my 3/4 exhaust for my r1 in the mail, I'll have my ecu back from superbikes by Friday. just wondering why you would add a power commander to your R1 if you can load Power Commander Maps directly onto the stock ECU?
I love it Ib. you need to set the suspension up Im guessing you need max preload AT LEAST next video I wana see big brakes and big downshifts and rev match with max braking 600cc vs 1000cc. I ride a beautiful curvy Woman so I dont need a 1000CC bike. a 600=765 is PERFECT!! your R1M carbon wheels/tyres fit the NEW R6 same size/offsets. D DO ITT) you kept repeating yourself when you were on the R1 and talking about the R6 Vs R1 about the the R1. I ws like is my youtube crashed LOL> AM I having a stroke LOL
Look at some of the road racing in Ireland and the 600s can be faster in some cases as its the size of your balls that count most! Personally having tracked Gsxr1000, Ducati 996 and my R6, i prefer the R6 for the liberties it allows you to take and its fun to beat the bigger bikes! I far prefer to ride well and learn more each time than have a powerful bike full of electronics that mask my deficiencies. This sport is all about learning, If you don't believe this it will get painful very quickly!
Hey buddy, I plan on doing my first track day with my R6 this year and was wondering if you got "track insurance" or not. If yes, where the hell did you get it from? I cant seem to find anything online. Thank you in advance.
I have unsubscribed to your channel, thanks.......just kidding! Damn it man. My channel is a speck, but still hate getting hit with the "copyright" flag... it's all good, I do understand.

damn these people have money. nice bikes, nice trucks, nice trailers....damn
YourTypicalGeek I said the same thing. Nice EVERYTHING!
Top 1%
No "GOT EM!!" at 13:56?!? This video must not be 650ib riding
+Kischardio HAHAHAHAHA!!!!
LoL!
I second this
I LOVE YOUR VIDS MAN
Great topic; thoroughly enjoy the 600's on the track. Looking forward to Tuesday; I will be finding away to pass that R1M on my Daytona!
That was an awesome day. Got all kinds of video of you from following you around for awhile on the R6.
+OhioCBR nice man! Looking forward to putting the SMACKDOWN on you on my 675R!
thanks for recording the control instructors speech was interesting to hear when i've never been to a track day
Love Saturday’s cuz my good buddy 650ib drops a new video 💯💯💯
Same
Finally a video that isn't plastered with "smackdown" all over it. However, when curves come into the equation, we are all shown what money cannot buy -- skill. I wish that stunnerway had your bikes.
+VinceGsNightmare Thanks! Make sure that you comment on his channel also, so that he gets paid from UA-cam. Maybe then, he will have my bikes 😂
You guys ride the heck out of those bikes. My tires are so squared off it's not even funny lol. These videos always make me want to go do a track day
HFR83 do it! most give discounts for new riders and free gear rental
No kidding? I'll definitely look into that. There's a track that's not far from me at all. I feel like my riding has improved but I just don't feel safe pushing it too hard on the streets......I hear you can learn alot from a track day
Yo is that intro "I got 5 on it", by the LUNIZ?! HELL YEAH!!! Good opening music for a great video!!! Keep em coming brother
TheVilouboy lmao ! yo you got a good ear I just noticed it
I love the look of the tires after a nice track day. I love the S21, interested to see how they compare.
Track848 Heck yeah man!! You'd love both bikes but I recommend the R1M for your skill set!
Awesome track video 650ib! For me it would be the 600cc bike simply because i'm not comfortable with the 1000cc power.
Your buddy Carl , has a sweet trailer and bike.I got my trailer from Leonard as well , it's a 6×12 enclosed.
I bought my 600cc with the intention to make it a track bike. It's quick, light and cheap so I wouldn't mind laying it down as I learn and push my limits more and more. Once I run that bike as far as it can go I'll be going for a 750 next.
Love the track vids man. Great quality content
The best bike to ride at the track is the one you can afford to crash and repair/replace.
Yamaha R6 or GSX-R600 rule track days for a reason. Gixxer squids provide a near endless supply of used parts, and the R6 is probably the most supported track day bike out there.
Nayr Nitsua , per Dave Moss tuning the r6 has weak forks that bend easy though, that said my top two are r6 and 675r.
I'd love to have a 675R, but I heard parts are expensive and iffy things on reliability. I've also heard they are great bikes right out of the box, but tougher to setup for strict track/race duty when pushing for every second.
The bigger bike might be more of a rush and give you better track times in larger tracks. Smaller bikes are easier to throw around turns and it's always fun to go full open for what feels like all the time.
i got 5 on it. Taking it back good sir. Nice vid as always!!!
Nice video!! I will definitely be purchasing me a 600cc motorcycle to start on the track. But once I get comfy I would love to put Ms Lisa Bonet on the track to unleash the S1Ks full potential in a controlled environment.

+Ragecage07 Thanks so much Trevor!!!
I can't wait until I come back to Mid-Ohio. Hopefully I see you there. I plan on tearing it down.
Keep up the good work. Really enjoy your videos. You're just a regular family guy who is passionate about bikes so most of us can relate to you. Are you in Ohio or Michigan? Used to live in Columbus back in the day.
+Anthony Thaulad Thanks Anthony! I'm in Cleveland, Ohio.
Everyone in the video is his good buddy not hating lovely video
AxlR Axlrp IB welcomes all and everyone is a buddy !! he's good dude .. I haven't even met him yet .. but by watching his videos u can tell he just a genuinely nice guy
As always love your videos brother keep up the great work 😀
+sohail sohi Thanks!!!!!
Shout out to lecrae for the beat in the intro, the song is called "Nuthin"
Great video man but I think that scooter will smoke both the R6 and the R1 on track. lol
Your buddy's set up is freaking sweet man.
Great vid man, keep it up! i know you will
R1m doesn't sound like it's choking anymore. Nice!
Good video and love the bikes
Yo 650! Stop trying to steal people truck! Lol! Great Video!
Have you ever been in a motorcycle accident? If so, how long ago was it? Maybe you could make a video talking about it. Thanks again for a great upload!
ReedSta4 great idea! How not crash going so fast or mistakes you made while riding.
650 always got the slaps as intros
Another awesome content ib! From - manila philippines
Bulldogs are the best! Great content as always ib
650ib is the best motovlogger around. Hands down
it's always entertaining watching your videos i may not comment a lot but I still like them. LOL
Nice. I am from the Eastern Suburb Cleveland, Ohio. just got my r6 2017
Lovin the vids tho man 👌🏽✌🏽
why would you exactly removed the ignition? plus wouldn't it be easier for someone to take if no security system? no steering lock? what benefits would this have
650ib you are the best !
Amazing cam quality :)
Every time I watch you guys run this track I get that perverted speed racer sound track playing in my head. I guess I have R1 kelly to thank for that. lol Looks like a fun day.
Racing on a tracking and vlogging! SKILLZ!!!
Have you and would you consider doing a track day on the h2?
Dohn Joe thats a good question!
600cc for me! Love Mid-Ohio.
Chris's bulldog is awesome. : - )
if your plan is to win races, 1000cc is my recommendation. If I'm racing to win as in "all or nothing, go big or go home, I want my 1st place prize and trophy", I'd without hesitation pick the 2014 s1000rr.

What up 650ib! I'll prob see you in a few weeks in hocking hills
+Moto DS Looking forward to it Sir.
I love Mr.650ib video hoping I could meet him and race him and the fast Cleveland boy on the track next year but this year race him on the track for my b-day soon in August the h2sx is coming soon and h2sxse
Why do you chose Brocks performance over Akro and Yoshi? Is it just because it’s local?
+OP Rib I chose Brock because of their superior customer service and quality parts.
OP Rib so hes pretty much sponsored with an answer like that.
650ib how do they do in performance comparative to the others? I know they all talk numbers but you’ve owned and ridden enough to formulate an actual opinion.
I had an 09 r6 with brocks exhaust merely because that is my name. Sounds great. Removable baffle and that bike scooted. Wish I never sold it.
It's easier to learn on smaller bikes.
lap times would tell you which is better!
zx10rDragon a lot depends on the rider. 1000 is faster if the rider is skilled and comfortable enough to use all the power of the 1000
Robert Martin ofcourse!
zx10rDragon depends on the size of the circuit. if you are on a small 2 mile track with more turns than straight denotes that a smaller more agile bike would be more beneficial for most riders. every rider is different. on a larger track, 3+ miles with longer straights, a larger bike would be quicker generally but it depends on the rider's ability to keep up pace.

Need a lap timer so you can compare between bikes and sessions.
Why do you "brake - release -brake -release - brake..." ? 14:05
That's non-efficent braking, plus it upsets the suspension
Kid574 well he's not a professional, he's probably trying to avoid locking his brakes up
Kid574 ....I don't know if it matters, but he was downshifting between brake....listen and you'll hear it.
+Clorox Bleach you have no sense and definitely no dollars, have you not heard of abs?
YoBaby Sup! Yeah just cuz abs exists doesn't mean all bikes come with it equipped
+Clorox Bleach yeah, it's only 2016 R1m
one of the most spec out track weapons around today.
keep diggin kid, you'll be Made in China any day now 👊
personal preference. on how fast and how aggressive u want to be
I honestly think if you can't put the 600 to it's limits on the track ... than u have no reason for a 1000cc for the track ... however .. if you are just out having fun and you are a good rider on the 600 .. I don't see a problem riding a 1000 here and there as it will help you when you move back to the 600cc ..
I'd like to see you compare your track times between the r6 and r1m, I think they would be very similar
Acceleration: 10 (shooting out of the corner)
Leaning: 7.5
Lines: 6.5
Barking approaching corner: 3
Gotta work on the braking...
+Mr. Grinch Thanks man! We drove through Louisville on the way back from Texas and we loved it! I'm trying to return this year.
hi
im a biker
and i dont have bike in U.S,,,!
and but how would i suppose can get a motor bike liscence
i know that's just dumb to ask a Question like that....
but i want it to get one quicker as possible !
Did you install the auto-blipper on the R1M? I think thats one off the negatives of the new R1s now that they dont have autoblippers stock.
Thinking about getting the 675 Daytona which do you think is better for guys our weight? The 675 or the R6/gsxr 600 r? Not really liking the look of the Honda 600
Hello I'm talking to myself. LOL, gold
Lovely! what the intro song please Ib?
You can ride track with your camera on your lid? USA laws are much easier than UK ones!
I started track days last year and run a 750 which is great but I'll run a 1000 next...
Birky 41 depends on the track in USA. Some allow some don't
Mate you need to get on a MV Agusta F4 especially the RR
that's a big saving on weight, and the stock wheels are hardly heavyweight to start with
Why did you cut the 1RM vs the 600 footage out so quickly??
Hey 650, just got my 3/4 exhaust for my r1 in the mail, I'll have my ecu back from superbikes by Friday. just wondering why you would add a power commander to your R1 if you can load Power Commander Maps directly onto the stock ECU?
Who else wanna see the H2 in the track?
Ad Mortem "none"
Joker :P
I'd much rather see one in my driveway. Time to start selling drugs.
I love it Ib. you need to set the suspension up Im guessing you need max preload AT LEAST
next video I wana see big brakes and big downshifts and rev match with max braking
600cc vs 1000cc. I ride a beautiful curvy Woman so I dont need a 1000CC bike. a 600=765 is PERFECT!!
your R1M carbon wheels/tyres fit the NEW R6 same size/offsets.
D DO ITT)
you kept repeating yourself when you were on the R1 and talking about the R6 Vs R1 about the the R1. I ws like is my youtube crashed LOL> AM I having a stroke LOL
jack black his heavy ass needs a respring
Can anyone explain the benefit of removing the ignition on the 2017 blue Yamaha R6?
Your videos are always entertaining and awesome. Been watching since joego101 rode the h2
Look at some of the road racing in Ireland and the 600s can be faster in some cases as its the size of your balls that count most! The best cc your familiar with 😉
Where’d Carl get that ohlins damper from.. ive been searching everywhere and cant find it.. Thanks!!
www.motomillion.com discount code 650ib
Hey buddy, I plan on doing my first track day with my R6 this year and was wondering if you got "track insurance" or not. If yes, where the hell did you get it from? I cant seem to find anything online. Thank you in advance.
So I have never ridden on a track. Question is how come all your lights and everything is tapped up.?
+Dean Harper In case you crash, glass won't get shattered all over the track.
makes sense haha. thanks
NP.
+650ib nice music man
Hey Man, where do you get your music/copyright free? Appreciate it!
+HalferLand Video's Awe man.... I can't tell, otherwise all the other motovloggers will copy me like they copy everything Casey Neistat does. Lol
I have unsubscribed to your channel, thanks.......just kidding! Damn it man. My channel is a speck, but still hate getting hit with the "copyright" flag... it's all good, I do understand.
PM??
Why cover up the mirrors? Surely it's safer to have them?
Tyler Clift if he wrecks glass wont get everywhere
george elias makes sense, cheers 👍
I use RS10's on my R1. They're great tyres, but on track they last about as long as a fart in a hurricane
650ib me good freind what you think. to a bmw600rr if they made one I think it would be a outstanding motorcycle
650ib what is your opinion on the brand new "Ducati 1299 final edition"? And would you ever consider purchasing one for yourself ?
+Jason Garriock I like it but I'm a bit upset that it wasn't released 2yrs ago. I won't buy it because the all new V4 Ducati is coming in 2018 and I'd rather have that.
I'm cool with the R6. Im 5'8 150lbs but the R1 didn't feel better for me. I sure wasn't faster on it.
The voice. Leathers a bit tight?
650 what's going on with the audio quality?
+CJ VDH most of it was shot outside on a windy day.
why do you have to tape up your mirrors and lights.
rmustang1990 so if you crash it doesn't cover the track in shards of sharp glass or plastic. Therefore reducing clean up time and keeping the track open.
Hey ib, on the r1 what kind of windscreen do you have ? That's not a sport touring right? I'm the same height as you
+Kerim Basaran I have a yamaha R1 smoked screen on the R1M.
is it me or did he repeat himself 3 times talking about riding the 600 all day and going to the 1000
On average how much is it for a Track Day?
I would like to know what works
11:20 what happened??
750!!! Why is this not a category???
Scooby Doo how many manufacturers have the 750 class? And plus if you advance to racing you can't race with 600 you can only be in the 1000 class.
as you can see it sounds nice 🙃🤔
