As a huge Mass effect fan I know a lot of people that were upset at the original ending but you have to give props for bioware of listening to their fans and making it better... I'm not saying it was the best ending but it was passable but we know now that the only reason why the Indy wasn't as good because bioware was given a deadline to push Mass effect 3 out in stores that we know that mass effect for is coming out... They don't have a deadline now so I really hope they take their time and make the next master game really really good... Bioware needs to make this a home run with a next Mass effect game and the next dragon age game.... Plus we know that Mass effect is getting their own TV show... I can't wait to watch it and I really hope it's really good...

I particularly hate Wokes too, now if there's a saga that for me brings themes like gender equality and so on intelligently, without being forced, it's Mass Effect. If they chose to put a female Shepard in a relationship with Liara (as was my gameplay), would it be Woke or would they just be showing a possibility that the game provides? In fact, because he is an unestablished character in terms of appearance, gender and sexuality, they can do whatever they want with Shepard and that would not be Woke. In my view, Woke would be if they changed the color and sexuality of other characters or if they took the issue of Asari's gender more politically.

Now that I see this ending. The control ending decision I made for my shephard seems justified. Id rather have Shep die and watch over his entire crew and his LI and protect them for their entire lives.

I always thought, almost 11 years ago, when I was playing it for the first time, what an idiotic unrealistic, totally not believable plot this was that countless people were working on the crucible straight for weaks or more, yet nobody noticed it matches perfectly to the citadel. It came as a total surprise that the citadel is the katalyst.
Which is even more bizarre, because it's said that the citadel is always the first place the Reapers invade and take over, so why on earth would they make a thing that would need it? Millions of cycles and they never weighed in a different way to activate?
