I'm really excited to see you doing repairs and restoration jobs on the 1972 Pinto Runabout. You are very, very lucky to have a small bumper -- hatchback Pinto!!! They are about as rare as hens teeth now!! lol. My Dad bought a 1975 Pinto Squire Wagon with the Cologne V-6 engine and C4 auto-transmission. I loved that car, she was peppy and handled great for a wagon. He bought it around 1980. I miss the memories of my Dad, he passed away in 2004. You did a really good repair on the F150 steering box! Well done!!! I actually have to do the same fix on my 89 F150. It's leaking from the seal also. Thank you so much for the Ascension of Christ story -- I understand what he did for all of us.
hey rev for future reference sometimes you can turn the steering wheel as far as it will go with the engine running once . you have the snap ring out and the pressure from the pump will pop that seal right out. Works for me.
Not too bad you got the Pinto Runabout so you can open and lock it with a key and you have a new radiator in it that works and most of the F150 done so still call it a win in my book. Hope your Mom heals well Prayers go out to her. You said Moose peed on your tire well my dog Chubby who is in most of my videos peed on my 2004 Mercury tires when it was in the garage of course it was raining cats and dogs at the time outside so I let him in the garage to releave himself and he went on my tire. 4th session of chemo Therapy tomorrow I have been feeling pretty good. Good morning, Rev! I hope you and your family had a truly blessed Easter week. I had 6 surgeries on my shoulders. The last one being a total replacement on my right shoulder. If there's any advice I can give to your mom it would be to follow the doctor's orders to the letter! Your body will try to fool you. You'll think, Oh I can do that. NO YOU CAN'T! DON'T DO IT!! Don't do ANYTHING until the doctors say it's okay to resume your normal activities! Until then, I'll pray for a quick and FULL recovery. God bless.

First car I ever drove was a 1973 Pinto with a 4 speed. I was 11 years old. It was the first car my family owned with air conditioning, and we drove all the way from Atlanta to Toronto and back in it without any trouble. It wasn't very comfortable in the back seat though.

On the radiator if you decide to you can take it to someone who does aluminum radiators and they can relocate your inlet and outlet wherever you need them and you can use the factory radiator hoses. If you decide to. It’s works really good as is but I thought you would like the option if you so choose. Have a Blessed One David
New direct fit Pinto radiators are about impossible to find today. There are affordable Ebay aluminum radiators that have inlet and outlets to match the Pinto's. However instead of the 1.25" Pinto hoses they usually take a 1.5" upper & 1 5" or 1.75" lower hose. By looking at various hoses and the dimensions given on the Rockauto site for different cars, you should be able to come up with hoses with the needed end sizes and bends to avoid having to use adapters or make splices. I just went through this when I installed in my 1974 2.3 Pinto an aftermarket 1965 Mustang radiator with both inlet & outlet on the passenger side. I found a 1980 Jeep and shortened 2000 Oldsmobile hose to fit well.

Your fixing that power steering correctly. I shouldnt tell you but you can get seal sweller to put in power steering to fix it easy. I own a pitman arm puller I bought for my old Ford truck. That seal might have been comepletly waxed and not fixable with seal sweller. I prayed for you momma.
