@@EllieAngharad91 I just discovered The Warning during this last tour. It takes a lot to impress me because I’m a guitar player & Led Zeppelin is my all time favorite. These ladies are amazing!!! Great song writing, excellent musicianship, & charisma in their performances you just can’t deny!!!! To have it documented from the start of the band until now is pure gold!!!! Such a nice family too.
Nothing can contain the awesome power that is The Warning. A band like no other who are the purest of musicians, no egos, no drama BS, and are genuinely so humble about their success. I've not seen a truly earth shaking band like The Warning and I grew up in the in the 80s when Metallica was dominating (whom I obsessed over as a fan), but these ladies are on a whole different level. The Warning are their own genre, and in 60 years time we will still sing their songs just like we've done with The Beatles.
Thanks very much for posting this. I realize that the EMA's are not really a live music performance award venue at all. The other acts I viewed were mostly choreography and lip syncs and autotune. Some of the comments I read on other performers were like "her mic was actually on - it was amazing!" And here come The Warning and not only perform live, but give a true rock and roll show. I hope they made many new fans in the audience and around the globe.
The point being made is that, there are so-called 'artists' there who, technically, are performance frauds, because they have to lip sync and/or use autotune to cover for or fix their crappy vocals. The comparison is absolutely justifiable. Just because you don't like it or think it's rude doesn't make it illegitimate.
These young ladies are destined to dominate the world of music for as long as they choose to do so! Eventual recognition as the greatest power trio of all time is highly probable. LONG LIVE THE VILLARREAL SISTERS!

@ they use some backing tracks and always been open about that and they want to get a keyboard player but it’s barely any backing tracks in this fr… also Ale keeps her mic low… they never lip sync a day in their lives but Dany is the main singer anyways and doesn’t play by those standards… you act like they lip sync the whole damn performance and you always come on TW videos for no reason but to hate, stop forcing yourself to watch things you don’t like you got too much time on ya hands

Is so evident MTV is not used to mix live bands anymore, Dany's voice was excessively over the rest of the band (sounded ok in streaming, tho). Hope these girls inspire more live, moving, powerful live performances.
I saw how a giant infernal robot of lights wanted to crush The Warning but Pau's bravery hitting hard and without stopping, Dani's light blinding the monster and the trembling of Ale's waves ended up subduing the gigantic monster by taming it, today I have seen that the powerpuff girls are not just a children's story. 😻💕💯💫💥🔥🔥🔥⚡⚡⚡🤙🤙

Yes still wearing his "security guard" sunglasses. He could also be seen in the backstage stream, disguised in a black suit and sunglasses. Looking like an proper FBI agent, he's just to big to hide in a crowd. 😄
Is it just me, or european, uk and other asian countries handle show production very different than America?.. This stage, Pol and Rock, and other shows like some of the kasakistan singer Dimash I have seen for example or the latest shows from Adele, have a rare quality of grandness, like if they dont follow the same rules.. they really bring to life whats in their imagination. In America they do that too in a big scale but not in the same way. You can even see differences in smaller shows from those parts of the world. Of course the sphere of Las Vegas is amazing and in that case it boils apart.
Totally feel same way i believe the process/cost of production in AME + policies in the contries prevents to having an espectacular production like EUR/ASPAC

Was this the only performace 100 percent live ? YOu can tell by Dannys voice and her change of breath and also the fact in 2:37 Pau mistimes the bass drum kick slightly lol they still sounded amazing
no what i mean is lip singing... live shows like these tend to do that to avoid the artist from looking as fool because not everyone sounds good live or afraid of the artist saying a profanity or out of line. There have been instances where even thew guitars are turned off and its playing on a track. Again these shows are on a schedule as well.
@@fredymendez855they definitely are playing and singing everything live, there’s no need for Pau to have her laptop for one song and many here have a better ear than me have stated a few mistakes here and there on the timing and stuff, all pointing to a 100% live performance, they have never been known to lip sync or use tracks for the instruments 😊
This looks a good post to comment and as I’ve watched them play 100% on many many concert videos and keep me fed has brought a lot of backing synth/drum and they play off a click (so Pau’s laptop is missing for a start)- this performance had live vocals (aside from the chorus back in track but I’m pretty certain the instruments were off backing tracks - give away is Dany’s harmonic string strikes past the nut - it’s the same as the album - that said stellar performance and the stage designer’s homage to Queen and Rammnstein - there should be an award for the most tour miles in a year I’m sure they’d be medalists. Still fan and watching the fire grow…….literally on this performance.
You seem to think that the laptop needs to be onstage for it to be used, same with the peddleboard .... they can be operated offstage by a crewmember. A trained monkey can press play at the start of the song and pause/stop at the end of the song on the laptop. As others have noted in comments here and other posts, Ale made a mistake (bass) and so did Pau (drums) did they put the mistakes on the backing tracks?
@ ooo precious and probably yes and yes to error (see what I did there) I was triggering probably before you were born - I say what I hear and I see backing track and as you should know is quite common for TV performance - unfortunately I’m not a hope life TW’er but enjoy their music live (rarely listen to the albums) do yourself a favour and line up the harmonics from the album and this performance drop them into protools and see how the frequency matches

All instruments were 100% live, but that doesn't mean that there isn't some background effects in there to bolster the feel of the performance. The girls mimed once before in some crappy TV show in the early days and vowed never to do that again.
Don’t understand why this question keeps coming up… 3 young ladies, very limited nuanced sound backing tract. While the other acts ……… cmon man it’s so obvious. They did exceptionally well, with no caveats. You can’t bring up the ladies and not everyone else. And they use it least of all.
Compare this to the MTV stream. It has an entire song backing track. They can't trust live performances because most bands these days can't/or won't play live. This fan cam is as live as it gets...:)

The harmony vocals start out low in the mix. Front of house mixer was apparently unfamiliar with the band. Nonetheless, they sounded great as always.
