I remember before when I was in high school we used the song Pandango sa ilaw in the National competition in PH and we won representing Visayas region we are truly blessed that this song is being used in so many competitions.

In singing, winning the audience hearts is not about the biggest voice but how the message is conveyed. As with dancing, It’s not about who’s more athletic.

Siguraduhing walang mababagsak, mababasag, mabububog, maiipit, masusunog.. Costume lang plus points ng ibang bansa, sa Pinas, appeal😁 Encore, Philippines!🇵🇭

The Philippines should have presented the Muslim Singkil dance.. it’s more of Filipino folk/cultural dance, more powerful and graceful…the beating of “ gongs” to accompany the dance is amazing..
Singkil does not represent the whole Philippines. TINIKLING is more culturally vibrant basis of majority. Note there is only less than 5%of muslim in the Phils. Georgia dancers are fantastic they look like they are gliding instead of walking.
Im Filipino and i cant believed they used Pandango sa ilaw as a dance to present to the world. It would have been better and exciting if they use tinikling…. Fire the dance director lol 👎🏽

I want to cry with the Philippines folk dance it’s like extending peace to your soul. Georgia brings you the life way back before modernization.
If this is a competition I wonder who stands out in the panel of judges however if this is only a cultural presentation both are impeccably wonderful.
