Carrot Cake & Cinnamon Rolls Combined For the Perfect Dessert | Save Room | Southern Living

This might be the closest you can get to having cake for breakfast without crossing a line. The dough is a standard and reliable sweet roll recipe, but with cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and orange zest rubbed into the flour to create an aromatic and flavorful dough surrounding the sweet sticky filling. The filling is sweetened with brown sugar and coconut while shredded carrot adds moisture, color, and flavor. These rolls expand to fill the pan and the moisture in the carrot seeps out of the rolls and caramelizes with the sugar at the bottom of the pan. This delicious treat is best served with some homemade cream cheese frosting.

Hi. I would like to a hold you to task. But firstly you are a great cook. I have made a number of your recipes they have always turned out as expected. I know it's time for me holding you to task. But please stop putting vegetables into cake. Vegetable shouldn't be in cakes that is cakes abuse ( there should be a law against it ). I know I am in the minority with this opinion.
