I have this radio in my 2008 Limited Hybrid. The right side knob spring is broken. Knob is stick in. How do I replace this? The dealer says replace the WHOLE stereo with NAV unit
I don't understand how the black knob that goes on the radio stays on. I now have four knobs after ordering the knobs from Toyota. But the black piece doesn't stay on. I put it on the radio prong but when I put the knob on it just flops around. Isn't it the black piece that's broken? Toyota says I need to pay for a new radio. Anybody fix this problem?

Is there a part number for the little black bushing that you dug out of the old knob? my bushing is shot, but the knob is ok. Your previous video showed using a fuel line, I presume that's the only fix other than 3D printing a replacement bushing?

Did you find a solution for your broken bushing? I am having the exact same problem and am looking or an answer myself.
I have not, I drew it from scratch on CAD and am resorting to having it 3D printed. Hoping I can get it close enough to work.

That knob is now between $22 and $38. March 2024. This actually made me not buy a used Highlander.
