Sea faring Hindu merchants used to worship here before going to Indonesia, combodia, Bali and Africa. On their return used to thank the Lord for their safety and prosperity. Hi Agnes, It's really heart warming to see your videos and how you embrace and respect a different culture along with your family. Just a tip, In most of the Hindu temples there's no any prerequisite that the person entering the premises should be a Hindu. All are welcome as long as they don't disrespect the local traditions inside the temple.

This is what the culture and customs you westeners don't know. That is the reason we dont let any non hindus enter into temple. No one can show or can capture the temple inside as that is more powerful place. When we do capture it the customs will be destroyed and the sanctity will be ruined. It is the public place or park. It is not even as church. So, please do understand our customs and traditions. I hope you understand.

Hi nice to see you trying to link up with a culture you married into. This is not coincidental. So use these experiences to enhance your spirituality. Ask all the questions you can, be open minded Hinduism is not a religion nor does it have a doctrine. It's the science of living and it's the only culture asks questions so there's no beliefs of God rather an understanding. It also gave humanity the dimensions of existence and the cosmos, which was frowned and ridiculed by the west but today the western science acknowledges these dimensions. So enjoy your journey , you will be sure to find it exciting and will be embraced fragrance of Grace
