Trailmakers is about building very awesome vehicles and machines, but you don’t need an engineering degree to get started. The intuitive builder will get you going in no time. Everything you build is made from physical building blocks. Each block has unique features like shape, weight and functionality. They can be broken off, refitted and used to build something new. Individually the blocks are fairly simple, but combined the possibilities are endless.
Expedition Mode is the challenging campaign mode of Trailmakers. You are competing in an off-world rally expedition with only a few building blocks to get you started. You must build, tinker with and rebuild your machine to progress. Journey through a big world, overcome deep gorges, angry wildlife and dangerous weather to progress and find new parts that will juice up your machine. The world in Expedition Mode will test your survival skills and ingenuity.
Sandbox Mode is where you want to head for an unrestricted, sandbox, vehicle-building experience. Here you can build anything you can dream of, and play around with it in the world of Trailmakers. It is a great place to test out crazy machines, and experiment with the physics engine. With tons of different blocks, hinges, thrusters and interactive vehicle parts - the skybox is the limit.
Trailmakers is even more fun if you play it with other people. Build cool vehicles and compete in mini-game modes with your friends or other Trailmakers online. Build a helicopter, send it to your friend, and shoot them out of the sky. Put two seats on a tank, and let your friend control the turret. As we get further in Early Access development Expedition Mode will also be adapted to multiplayer.

The tomato build was absolutely phenomenal. The way it went crazy right as it was beih narrated; i loved it haha

It now subracts where it should be, from where it wasn't, or vice versa. By differentiating this from the algebraic sum of where it shouldn't be, and where it was. It is able to obtain a deviation, and a variation, which is called "air".

Yeah, it would however be fun if he where to explore the builds that others made from different games. There are a lot of amazing things out there that would also bring a lot more variety to the channel.

tomato build was hands down my favorite not only did it have good automation but also created a fantastic comedic moment

The Vroomba creation is actually a thing in real life, they just made it in Trailmakers.
So cool you get to play with devs and join in on these events. it's an awesome way for people to see this stuff who don't follow it.

Well... I have only watched a few vids of your channel and at the end keep asking for a idea... How about "hop scotch" with either jumping cars or jumping mech suits, or "rock'm sock'm" with mech builds, or maybe "lawn darts/horse shoe" lol

I would love to see the gang make a vehicle that automates the travel and lets you First Person to move around and do things. Not sure if it would work for a Multiplayer Monday but maybe on the scale of those escape rooms you guys made for each other.

Hey ScrapMan, I've had an idea for a trailmakers challenge for a while now that may turn into a series if you like it. I think you should do a fashion show type build battle in trailmakers, where you just try to build the best creation you can. You would all try to build the same thing and then you would score all of them somehow in a few different categories.
Edit: I know that's kind of what the evolution series is, however it would just be one really good build that you would have no time limit on or anything.
I hope in the destruct build theme there will be a build that will have inator in it

You should do a multiplayer Monday video where you have to race through land air and sea while having a separate car on a flatbed attached to your creation. The flat bed cannot have anchors or any attachment methods. You could just make one that you all use and build a car that you all use.

Can you maybe do a build battle... hypercars... but its 3 catigories... looks, controlability(in a race circuit), and speed(drag race or centrifuge)
anyone notice that it looks like scrapmans creations list looks different (like hes playing on a test branch)
idea: manned missile vs plane, all participating players build 1 missile and one plane each and take turns on who is what, either 1v1, 2v1 (1 plane, 2 missiles) or 2v2 the plane need to be unarmed and slower then the missile, no repair for anyone, the missile get infinite respawns, the plane need to stay within a certain distance of the missiles spawn location, the plane wins if it stays alive for a certain amount of time.
another idea, walking mech battle under water on the high seas map, no idea what limitations should or should not be in place here.

I was in the stream that you were in with a dev and in a rocket
I wonder what would happen if you and your friends tried having a walker battle with unassisted weapons aiming? Or a first person dogfight with unassisted weapons? Or a two-player helicopter where on of you pilots it and the other acts as the gunner so you have to work together with unassisted rocket fire and maybe an assisted gun? I still like the idea of 2v2 helicopter dogfights where each of you design a said 2-player helicopter and the builder flies it in his round then plays gunner for the other… those ideas just shake the usual setup a bit, you know?

Hey scrap can you and Yzuei do a video of dog fights with two pilots in one plane on driving who can not see and one navigating who can see but can’t control the plane? Like you could use a cam block strategically placed so you have no sight and the other sees but no controls like a 2v2 battle I think it would be funny and an interesting challenge at the same time

Neutral gear is just that a Neutral point where the gearbox is not connected to any gear therefore the engine and wheels are not connected.
