I remember I was 15, booting up Watch Dogs, and just play till nightfall with no worries. Now, I’m a depressed and worthless adult, good times.. good times.
this game has such a good story I usually hate it when there's family segments especually when they pull a Heros kid has some issue but in this I really like seeing the rough tough hero with a soft side. and I like that they didn't shove the whole my niece died in your face while they still reminded you of what your fighting for. I also think all of the other character has great personalitys gameplay is really awsome and I love how they didn't fuck up the hacking element like I thaught they would voice acting is also pretty good.
I got the game on sale out of curiosity and just played it like I would an FPS with not many expectations, other than being able to traverse an open world Chicago. And honestly, it kept me engaged all the way through despite it having somewhat of a lack of ambition in the late game at times. It was a solid game, and the ideas behind the mechanics were stellar, just wish they did more with them. Oh, and the soundtrack is great. So is the driving, it's fun. Just wish the AI vehicles were more aggressive in their driving and more difficult to fight against.

Do you guys feel that this game a Batman-esque ring to it? I feel like this game is as much a hero's journey as it is a vengeance tale. They play on the vigilante aspect a lot through the game, but I feel that the focus might shift to that even more in future games.
This dude is literally Batman -vigilante - deep/gravely voice - dark backstory - family member/s killed - both stories take place (mostly) in cities - both have companions that play as the comic relief
Aiden Pearce is one of my favorite "vigilante" characters. He has a motive, and does whatever he can to achieve his goals, even if it means breaking a few rules. That doesn't me he lacks morals though, he just wants to protect the people he loves.
There is a very special story here about people struggling to get through life in a brutal city that feeds on unhappiness, but it is never properly explored. You can view the profiles of all these pedestrians that are going through tragic shit. Aiden Pearce goes through a process of isolation and self-destruction over the course of this plot, but it's never fully explored like it should have been - and that kills me. The sequel takes on a very different approach with color, humor and life, and ultimately lands better.. but I always think about what this concept could have been if they landed it better.
This is still my favorite of the 3 games. I like that Ubisoft is trying new things with Legion, but it killed it for me not having a strong lead character to drive the narrative. Just imagine what could have been if they continued to expand on Aiden's story.

Yeah, I played the first one, masterpiece. Played the second one, alright but not nearly as good. Legion, only got 4 hours in and couldn't finish. Ubisoft is great at making stories and villians, with out those, the games aren't great. Like far cry 3, vaas was a great villain, and the story is good. Ubisoft should stick to story based games.

To be honest I wish Aiden just worked with Damien. Despite how the job went bad they could have helped each other. They could have just cut a deal where he helps Damien find out what happened with the job and Damien could have helped him find everyone involved. Cause as much as I love Aidens character it just seems like when he fixes everything he'll just put himself in trouble again with some job.

10 years ago today this legendary/controversial game came out that was over hyped to the extent i remember i was 13 when this came out thinking it was just a PS exclusive & i was told that this game was on all systems i didn’t get the game until i was 15 in 2016 & this was the first game i ever played & booted up on Xbox One the memories ive had playing & beating this game plus the online that’s still kicking till this day now im just a depressed & worthless adult good times & that’s just an understatement, i wish Ubisoft would’ve never released this on old gen & this game would’ve easily became GOTY with the graphics & windy affects they had promised from the 2012 & 2013 demos thank u Ubisoft for the great memories i had with this game along with Watch Dogs 2.

I've always liked this game. Sure, the story was a little bloated, gameplay was a bit basic and poor reception was mainly due to mismanagement of audience expectations, but at the end of the day, this game is one that people have seen the merits of with time, and the soundtrack never put a foot wrong. It's the best of the 3 for a reason.
