I bought a flugelhorn recently but hadn't played since I was in high school and I'm 75 now. This is the first piece that I've been working on to get back into playing and slowly rebuild my lip. Your video here is very encouraging for me. Thank you.

I’ve played in and off since school now the grand old age of 55 and looking to return to playing in a brass band once restrictions are lifted. Thanks again.

I really liked this... nice use of Flugelhorn. Just wondering whether or not you could get a backing track that would allow you to take it up a fourth or fifth? The notes are on the low side and less easily ‘singing’ than those further up the stave (as you know).

I try very hard to keep my covers as close to the original as possible thinking that some people might want to play along with the original artist. That was the case here - (very unusual by the way... such an easy key for flugelhorn). Certainly putting it in the key of F would be great too - but then you can't play along with Christina Perry, and who doesn't want to play along with her?! 🎺

Honestly I’d like to see you play better bro. First of all, it’s a brass instrument so everyone plays differently, and this guy has a very gentle style with solid soft tongue playing so go be an elitist somewhere else
