Meeee tooo! Although I’m not sure if this is exactly what I’ve been looking for. I was trying to find a way to make the landline connect to a Bluetooth wireless headset. I’ve found wireless headsets that connect to cellphones but not landlines. During the holiday season I’m Always looking for a wireless way to handle business calls so that staff can multi task.
Hello. This is really great information. Could you send option for a headset that still dies everything in this video but is also Noise Cancelling. I am looking for a headset that can still be connected to a hardphone wirelessly and is Noise Cancelling to avoid background noise in calls

I want to WFH and I travel in an RV. I don't have a way to install a traditional phone line. Is there anything on the market that will allow me to setup a phone line while not being in a house?
Hi Sharon, if you have internet access to a laptop or computer, you can get what’s called a softphone and use your phone from your computer or mobile phone.
A few popular softphone providers to consider are RingCentral, Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
@@HeadsetAdvisor Thank you so much!!
This is a great video.
I've got the jabra evolved 75.
Is it possible to buy an adaptor or something to make it work like these headsets do?
Hi Andy, we get this question from time to time, and there's no adapter to make a Bluetooth headset compatible with a desk phone we're aware of.
What set up I'll need? I've got poly vvx450 desk phone. Can I add Bluetooth function to this and use any Bluetooth headset?. Alternatively How can i I use jabra engage or evolve with this?
The ideal headset would be a DECT wireless headset but please contact us so we can match you with the correct headset for you needs. headsetadvisor.com/pages/contact-us
Thank you so much! I couldn't follow the instructions included with the wireless headset.
Thank you for your feedback, Katherin! Glad this was helpful to you.
Hi!! Thank you for your content! I just recently started a new job and they use that same type of phone in this video the poly on one… my question is-can I use my apple headphones as a head set to answer calls? I really need my hands free and having to pick up the phone seems so old school to me -because in my previous job we had a web based phone system which allowed me to connect my AirPods-so just want to know if I can use my apple headphones as a headset to answer the landline phone here at my new job-your help is appreciated--I hope this makes sense :)
Hi Violet, we get asked this question regularly and unfortunately Airpods won't be compatible with a desk phone. There are a lot of other headets to choose from that are compatible though. Feel free to contact us to point you in the right direction headsetadvisor.com/pages/contact-us
@@HeadsetAdvisor I am sorry but my question isn't about the "Air Pods" which are Bluetooth headphones...my question was about the apple HEADPHONES the wired ones...anyway, I bought an adapter that is supposed to be compatible with my desktop phone at work I'll give it a shot, if it doesn't work, I will return it :) thank you for answering me.
We have NEC landline phones and the Plantronics headpiece. We also have bluetooth Logitech headphones (for Zoom calls). What I want to know if whether I can connect the Logitech headphone to the phone (which has no USB nor Bluetooth), like if there is a phone jack out wire (from the phone) into a bluetooth/USB hub, into which the Logitech bluetooth/USB dongle also goes, which then transmits to the headphones? I understand you won't be able to lift the handset on the phone using the headphones (unlike the Plantronics headset button), but maybe we can just manually lift the phone handset, switch to the Bluetooth headphone, then just hang up when done? Thanks!
Unfortunately there's no way we're aware of to convert your Logitech headset to work on the NEC phone. That being said there are other models that allow you to seamlessly connect to your NEC phone + computer for things like Zoom calls. If you're open to a different model that will work like this, let us know and we can share a few options to consider. headsetadvisor.com/pages/contact-us
What if Avaya phone has option for head set ? Can we just plug in directly to that port?
Which headset?
Thanks for the video! I need your help, i work at a call center in a hospital, and we use the Alcatel Lucent phone 4018 touch connected to a 4059 keyboard, would a Poly Voyager 4210 Office USB-A or a Poly Voyager Focus 2 Office work with my setup? i answer around 1000 calls a day and it's hard to use the handset all day...
While working from home at all call center , for a Jaba Pro 930 do you just keep the phone receiver off the phone to answer all calls or do you need to put the receiver back to the phone unit it self each time?
Hi Lindsey, it all depends on your phone. As a heads up the Jabra Pro 930 is for your computer and the Jabra Pro 920 is for a corded desk phone like in the video.
If your phone has a dedicated headset port, you’d connect the Pro 920 to the headset port of the phone and press the headphones button on your phone to answer/end calls with your receiver hung up.
There’s an accessory you can get that will allow you to answer/end calls from your headset as well without needing to press a button on your phone or pick up / hangup your receiver.
I have some questions... is there a way to call or email or chat with u guys directly? Started a new job and need a cordless headset
Hi Kristin, yes you can contact us just about any way you'd like here headsetadvisor.com/pages/contact-us
Can I use earphones that don’t have a base, instead only rechargeable headphones (single like Jabra)?
For a corded desk phone in most cases you’d need a model with a charging base like in this video. Feel free to contact us and we narrow down a couple best options for you headsetadvisor.com/pages/contact-us
My Starlink connectivity is horrible where I live and I have trouble participating in Teams calls without getting dropped dozens of times. I do have a reliable landline and I can connect to the Teams audio that way. I have a Jabra Evolve 75 wireless headset that I use with my laptop. Do they make analog landline phones with Bluetooth capability so I can connect my headset directly to the phone via Bluetooth? Trying to avoid buying another headset. Thanks! You're my last hope.

My digital line is in my kitchen , I need to use my Bluetooth headset in my home office and be able to dial. Is this possible?
Do you have a corded or cordless phone?
I have a standard ATT desk phone. Was using a Plantronics mono headset (with lifter) connected with an RJ plug. What do I need to do? What headset?
Does the Plantronics headset with lifter no longer work? Should work on your ATT phone as long as it's corded.
@@HeadsetAdvisor Lifter and headset broken and thrown out. I have a new lifter but need reach on headset that will attach with an RJ plug as thats all the phone has.

Can I connect a handset to desk phone. I wanna be able to make calls away from the phone as well
I have the ATT Dect 6.0 2lines head set with bluetooth wireless technology, It was connected and working fine till I change the phone line cord I lost connection and I tried all things out it says not register and blue and red light blinking
Thanks for making this video! it was very helpful.
I have a Polycom VVX311 phone and a Plantronics WO2 headset. There's no place on the headset to plug in the phone's curly cord, but if I plug the headset cord into the headset jack on the phone base then I can make/answer calls without lifting the receiver.
However, the person on the other end of the call says that there's a terrible echo on their end. They can hear themselves more clearly than they can hear me. Disconnecting the phone curly cord makes the echo even louder.
Can you think of anything I can do to fix this?
Hi Brian, in your setup you can leave both the handset and headset plugged into the back of your phone. From there, on the left side of your W02 charging base is a cover you can pull down. In there is an A-G switch. Set that to A and set the mic/speaker to 2. Let me know if this helps.
@@HeadsetAdvisor Thanks for the direction! Putting the switch to A didn't work but I played around with it and found the right one. Turns out it that D works perfectly. I really appreciate your help!
