: the tattoo means that without music they would just be zombies. like...if they weren't a band or could express who they were they'd be like zombies

Finally someone said it. That's why I never talk about Dir en grey with their "fans" because when I talk about music they start talking about Kyo's cute dance - siriously dafuq happend to world?
I hate it when people talk about how cute or hot a musician is, especially when they have high talent or skill, so I do agree with you. I also get concerned every time I see Kyo fish hooking on stake.
Die's accent is so hot...god he was such a flirt when I saw them in concert. ^__^

No its not related to a signature serie. His Ganesa VIII featured a "Japanese Zombie Heroez" on the neck. It has since been added to most of the guitar he uses. However he does not use the ganesa serie anymore (at least during shows).
His current signature serie is the ESP viper. I guess Japanese Zombie Heroez is still painted on the neck.

Lol no its just a tattoo. I think you are refering to the Ganesa VII that has "Japanese Zombie Heroez" painted on the neck. But nothing to do with a signature serie.
Anyway Kaoru is not using this guitar anymore during shows.

@101shonenjumpfreak Well, he kept smiling and winking at my best friend and I, and then at the end of the set, he threw his pick at us. He pretty much watched the two of us the whole time..as if he were the audience, and he were the show. It was actually borderline creepy.
