Having Randle at the 5 wouldve been in INTERESTING lineup, with Mitchie out i think Thibs should try stuff like that out. At least during junk time or maybe even limited minutes where we're up against teams below .500 that dont have a lot of size

It was a win against a below 500 team however Knicks were down 2 key players so it kinda evens out. Feels like the Knicks were playing at peak potential last night, even though Randle was doing his ISO thing the ball was still moving. Each man on the roster recorded an assists. I credit this play to Dante, didn’t shoot until the 3rd yet was still impacting the starters by facilitating. Same with Hart who had 8 assists. I like IQ but someone needs to prioritize assists and making easy buckets for players. Can’t have two PGs that only care about scoring. It’s only one game but if we continue to play like this, if IQ continues to sit, I wouldn’t mind trading the kid. Yes, below 500 team but the Knicks don’t even drop 130 on below 500 teams.

Awesome video bro but I would mention one thing. The whole ‘over 500 team’ thing is mostly dumb. We are separated from number 1 by like three games. When you have two teams that are literally one and two, with five star/superstars between them, you’re going to drop games. But unlike anyone else, we beat who we are supposed to. We are still growing so things like this will happen. But all things considered we will adjust as usual.
You must not have been following the Knicks long. Thibbs is a mediocre coach, and we won't make the playoffs because of it. You can't make the playoffs only beating weak teams. I suggest you check the schedule. And then there is the injury prone Brunson. It's only a matter of time before he goes down. NO MITCH!! NO BRUNSON!! NO PLAYOFFS!!
idc about standings in December....I care that we are able to compete against the teams that we'll most likely see in the playoffs IF the playoffs are the goal (Milwuakee, Boston, etc etc)
@@CK2K well then I hope you have a snickers bar because we aren’t going to know the truth until Mitch is back. At least this time it’s early enough for us to get him back before the playoffs. Last time we stayed level before his return. Like I said before, they aren’t doing well on defense because they have been sticking to the help defense way too much. All of the games we have been blown out, that was the main reason why.
As a matter of fact, we are two games under .500 with teams .500 and better. We are gonna get SMACKED on the road trip!! Thibbs has peaked, and it's time for him to GO!!

But every single team we've been losing to have stretch 5's and make Mitch & Hartenstein irrelevant.
You're best bet is to keep the paint wide open for Julius, Brunson & RJ or at least have that option.
Julius is no longer equipped to play the 5 like he did in spurts for the lakers because he had to lose a lot of weight to play a more perimeter game for the Knicks in the bad spacing.
It's not making any sense as to why the Knicks can only have traditional bigs as if this team has done anything worth a damn before Randle got here

You've done nothing. Julius has helped build this current foundation. The least the Knicks can do is get him a stretch 5.
The man was working out with Myles Turner for 2 summers straight a few years ago.

Julius gets heat for "lack of effort" when he's playing 12 minute quarters.
Brunson missed 14 games last season.. Randle missed 6.5 total from an ankle injury that required surgery
Not to mention , the man was almost crucified for 6 games off to a slow after surgery despite he was still leading the team in assist .
I hope either Julius wakes up and leaves this team on time to compete for a title somewhere..
Or they actually do right by the man and build a real cohesive team around him and Brunson
This organization does not deserve that man if we're keeping it a bean .
