At first I was sceptical but now i am totally digging it. It made do my geometry homework with 25 problems that my teacher gives my class everyday twice as fast! It actually works!
This music transports me. I cannot effectively explain the feelings or headspace that surrounds this, but it resides somewhere in unexplored realms of our universe, the micro and subatomic world, universal consciousness and our perception of reality and deeper knowledge. This is my favourite place to dwell. There's definitely more to this, i feel it, and maybe those who trust it will get to go someday.
+Sux2bRyan Its kind of like the Om. Vibration bringing reality into being. I get what you're saying. I've heard this type of music before in passing but never really thought too much about it until tonight driving from Huntsville to Chattanooga something similar came on Chatt's NPR station for about 30 min. I tried to look it up but the playlist wasn't posted. Anyways- kind of reminds me of a less insane version of drums and space from a Grateful Dead show. For some reason, it had a profound effect on me. Kind of a healing feeling. I was listening and trying to subconsciously figure out the structure of it while simultaneously getting lost... I want to figure out how to play a version of similar ambient music on acoustic instruments, guitar, mando, maybe add a sitar, some hand drums or tablas, I just don't fully understand the theory behind it yet. It sounds like it is mostly synth playing chords maybe changing one note at a time to a suspended 2nd or 4th or something while sustaining and slowly phasing in a new chord???
i remember back in the 90's i stayed up late around 2am to record, Los angeles power 106 POWERTOOLS mix show, an the first mix on it was ambient mix, 15min into the mix it put me to sleep. good ol memorys..
I am writing my Thesis for a master's now, 2 weeks to go... Gotta submit my draft Introduction tomorrow to my supervisor, 2500 words done of 5000 required for the intro, I hope a year later I could look back the same way you are looking back as a Ph.D. student!
It went brilliant, I actually happened to do 6300 words., and overall Thesis to be 23000 words and today was the poster presentation. It was good. Hope the other part of becoming a PhD student realizes the truth as well.
Please make more videos; I have been a fan since 2019. I have not come across any other music that resonates with me as yours does, especially when I am studying.
I like it! Thank you, it really does help to stay focus but also if you have no tasks it takes you deep into thought. I want to listen to this after rolling one up. Anyone here already tried this?
Thanks so much for this! I love listening to music while doing work, but I often get distracted by constantly changing the song and singing along. This is perfect!
best kinda ambient Indeed! I like that it is a little complex and abstract rather than the typical boring and safe spa music that you often get by searching "focus" and "ambient". My brain wants to have a little challange but not be distracted - it's a fine balance. Thank you for the well thought out set of tracks. Btw, it's the same with sleep music for me - and guided meditation - I'd rather have a little challanging "guidance", or maybe not guidance at all, in order to find balance between distraction and acceptance in sleeplessness.
this is good composition nonetheless, and i understand that certain ears don’t hear what i hear. got me through my homework and reading. thank you Focus At Will. 🙏🏾
44:00 Reminds me of the Limitless TV show soundtrack :) Anyway this really helps and is the perfect balance for my brain to stay occupied in the background but not to actively listen to. Thanks!
I'm at home but it's construction season and I just want to hear something peaceful, though I would definitely put this on to shop or out to eat....or anywhere people are...
If it's night time and you're alone, and you came here trying to do work but can't ? Go straight to 8:31 . We tend to be very awake when we feel our lives are in danger :P
This is what ambient music for work/study/focus should be about-no vocals, no percussion/drumbeat, just ethereal waves. I wish it were 9 hours long to play all day at work.
Ha, its the day after Christmas. Company is over. I just moved into a small apt and the noise bounces off of the walls. I'm trying to work because I have a deadline. Hm... what can I listen to to drown out the voices. Oh I know, THIS RIGHT HERE! Love the bass by the way. Yummy. Thank you for allowing me to concentrate!
Roisin Lansley :Both seen so different, I wander which parts scares you, may be you can observe the thoughts that come up in those intervals... and INTEND to release them....
+DragonDebonaire I came here to work. I love this kind of music. catchy enough to enjoy. not so great you think about it. helps me concentrate on my work.

*finally* something that isn't piano, static noise or repetitive hip hop beat. Thank you
i listen to ambient songs now because most lyric songs are sad and it influences my brain, i like it when Its just my voice thinking.
Yeah it's healthier this way
POYINK I see you are fed up with the Hollywood garbage now huh?? good lol
Devin MC kinda yea Iv always been sensitive to lyrics but there are some good Hollywood stuff out there too
POYINK oh yeah I know. But I don't listen to them all of the time. I mainly listen to instrumentals to keep my self calm and focused
POYINK do whatever make you mental2 stable and focusing..I am like you exactly. not big fan of words
Not studying. I just dig this kind of music.
I have listened to this set so many times I've lost count. This is my special place music, I never get bored.

+Chumbersdee yo yea marsFM was cool it turn into GROOVE RADIO with Swedish Egil
+trust626 Big Boy Morning show on KPWR! Good old days man
Reading this string of comments made me remarkably nostalgic and happy, even though I cannot relate to the radio stations or music.
Gotta focus! Only 5 more days until I deposit my master's thesis! Ok, now I'll go work!
so now that its been a year, how'd it go?
Redfizz12 haha I've now moved to Ph.D in Okinawa, Japan! This still helps me concentrate!

This music competes with my heartbeat! How can it be called "Ambient" with all that Thumpity-Thump in the background!!
Thank you so much!! I got a week long essay done in 3 hours with this.

For some odd reason this mix really put me on edge. Idk. It was calming but it made me notice every little thing around me.
Whenever you are calm, your mind is clearer, and you become much more aware and observant.

up to 400% you say.. I WANT TO SEE THOSE STATS! All jokes aside this really does help
It sounds like I've been beamed up to the mother ship. I love it.
This is great for scrolling on your Instagram timeline browsing for memes too!
17:00 - 19:00
the ambient rendition of 'Switch Off by Cell' is better than the real 8 minute song.
Around 14:30 sounds like it is on a game I have played before.
Can anyone tell me the song at 44:00?
+tigalopl1 Darude - Sandstorm
