When the kids were still in school, we would camp on the weekends frequently and usually a week or two early spring. Pancakes were the break down and pack out day breakfast... Any way they wanted them, Blue Berry, Cinnamon Swirl, Peanut Butter, Chocolate Chip, Banana and any other concoction they could imagine... All hot off of the griddle. We always had a few neighborhood kids along and those spots were coveted. They are grown now and making their own memories. Glad I have mine.
That's great Jamie, I love hearing these stories. It reminds me of the camping trips my parents took us on when we were kids. They would always take a few kids from their karate school too and we would play football. My mom would cook giant meals for everybody. I know your kids are making memories of their own now, but I know theyre still holding onto the old memories with you too. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching!

I just love videos like this! This one was a little spooky with the foggy darkness. Your houseboat is just the right lovely size! I also would enjoy fishing more in a houseboat!
@@ProverbsProductions I’m working on a houseboat that is similar in size. It’s rated at 26 feet and has a Suzuki 115hp outboard motor. It’s also a tri-toon. I’m just loving it in anticipation of using it this summer. These videos are inspirational and they keep me going! God bless y’all!
@@robertmyers4155 that sounds like it's gonna be an awesome boat. My daughter and I started building another houseboat (18 feet) that is solar electric powered. We'll launch it this summer.
That was nice, I'm so happy everything has worked out for you and the houseboat. You have a great kid and I'm sure she's going to love her adventures fishing and camping on the houseboat!
hello from the Ozarks!! I have a 52in. curved led light bar in front and back of my boat to help at night but not much can help in fog. thanks for sharing your adventures! cheers!!!
Hey Phillip! For sure, after this trip we'll definitely be installing some more lights. Every time we go out we find something else we need. Thanks for watching!
Hi just came across your channel....I really enjoy your videos...just wondering I saw an almighty big anchor in one video...is that a bit overkill..?...or an anchor you already had..?..I would think a bit smaller anchor would suffice.?..please keep the episodes coming...Thanks Greg..from Australia.
Hi Greg from Australia, thank you. I'm actually going to do a video about my anchor soon and talk about why I chose that style and the easy formula for choosing the right size. Thanks for watching!
Thank you for sharing.
Love the music choice!
Thanks Taag, I thought it was a nice touch, lol. Thanks for watching!

Have y'all thought about a light bar so y'all can see better at night? Even though it wouldn't help to much in the mist .
Hi Jerry, adding more lights is a good idea and we'll definitely be doing that over the winter. Thanks for watching!

You need an off-road light bar. Cuz
Fir real, a light bar definitely would help in the dark (not so much with the fog though). Thanks for watching!
