Well done Olivia. Thanks for sharing this beautiful journey. Love your endurance on the first stages. Think it’s wise to shorten the day trips to enjoy the Camino. I’m 61 and do a lot of long distance walking (100k) on one day but the Camino is on my wishlist to discover more from myself. Very inspirational vlogs for your age. Will follow them the coming episodes. Stay safe and healthy.
Thank you so much! 😊 I completely agree that walking shorter distances is the best way to truly enjoy the Camino. I learned that lesson later on, but since I only had one month to complete it, I found myself torn between taking it slow to enjoy the journey and pushing through to achieve my walking goal. I hope you get to walk the Camino someday, it's an incredible journey for self-discovery! Stay safe and happy walking! 🚶♀✨
@ you made it. I hope more people will see these inspiring videos. During walking in the wet December months in the Netherlands I walk 30 k with your videos in mind. Virtually I walk the Camino to get through these cold period. Thanks for that 😊
Your insights are accurate. Those were two very aggressive first days, however, your mindset is wonderful and my wish is that you continue to absorb the beauty of the Camino. It will definitely change you and inspire a new energy for life.
dear Olive, its only your 2nd clip, and I'm already captivated... you put your videos together so well, so skillfully, and it is beautiful to listen to your sharings of how its going... I've walked the Camino Frances twice, but always started further east on the shorter Camino Aragon, which then melts with the Frances just after Pamplona... hopefully you will sometimes have been able to film a bit including some new peregrino friends - your reports of those meetings sound already very happy! Ultreia! 🥾🥾😊
Thank you so much for your kind words! I truly appreciate it. 😊 Congratulations on completing the Camino Frances twice - that's impressive! The Camino Aragon sounds like a beautiful and scenic route 😊 This has been my first Camino, but I will definitely return and explore more routes in the future. And yes, I did manage to capture a few moments with my Camino friends! 😁 Wishing you many more joyful walks on the Camino! Ultreia! 😊
Congrats on your vlog. Beautifully shot I love how you focus on what you are seeing rather than what you are saying. It really highlights the beauty of the Camino. One comment read aggressive start, I might have said crazy but loved it just same. My heart is telling me I have to do this for my 75th. After having done last 100 from Sarria in May the Camino keeps calling me. Your lovely videos are inspiring me.
Thank you so much! 😊I'm happy to hear that you found the videos inspiring. Celebrating your 75th on the Camino sounds like a fantastic idea! While the last 100 km from Sarria were absolutely beautiful, I personally found the true meaning of the Camino in its entirety. My daily videos captured both the highs and lows as I was seeing things at the time, but gaining perspective over the entire journey made every moment worth it! I highly encourage you to listen to the call. 😊Wishing you an incredible journey if you decide to embark on it!
I know you were on a tight time schedule, however, I hope you were able to enjoy the journey. I walked from Leon a couple years ago and will be staring in SJPP next summer and realized the Camino is as much about the journey as the destination. Buen Camino. Enjoying watching your videos.
Thank you! 😊 I'm happy you're enjoying the videos. I did find joy in every aspect of the journey, and I completely agree with you about it being more about the journey than the destination. For me, having a set goal brought a sense of achievement, but I do understand and resonate with those who prefer the spontaneous day-by-day approach. It's the beauty of the Camino - it accommodates various perspectives and experiences. Wishing you an amazing journey from SJPP next summer! Buen Camino! 🌟
