  • A song made for The President and Marshal of Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, Josip Broz Tito. Played and sung by the Lyublyanskiy armeyskiy ansambl.
    Lyrics:
    Somewhere among the free fields
Where from the ground the young grows
In honor of who our leader is the best
    We created this song
    Tito, our bright military glory
Tito, our pride and our example
Where does your banner lead us?
    We'll follow you upstairs
Our thought stretches the wings of light
    Young, strong in hearts boils
The plowed land will give us bread
In the autumn for us, for all.
    Tito, our bright military glory
Tito, our pride and our example
Where does your banner lead us?
    We'll follow you upstairs

what you mean 6 languages? croatian, bosnian, serbian are same language only different accents.
So by your logic, I suppose those who live in Split talk not the same language as in zagreb because their accent is very diferent. Every region has different accents doesnt mean its different languages.
Croatian, bosnian and serbian are the same damn language

Scor There were more Albanians in Yugoslavia then Macedonians. But it doesn’t matter. What matters is that Tito was a good leader and should come back, next time he should include Albania and Bulgaria

Before last year I had no idea that Tito existed. And now, he is one of my favorite leaders of the 20th century. I wonder why American schools never teach anything about Tito or Yugoslavia.

Ehh, even in slovenia, which was lart of yugoslavia they barely mention tito or partizans. Its alwasy just americans russians and britian in ww2, but we never talk about partisans which fought right here and were actually accepted as allies forces in 1944 i think

@Montenegrin Brocialist-Stalinist My grandmother and great grandfather and the family were from Yugoslavia or what it was before WWI and I became a huge Yugoslavia lover-- But we teach normal U.S education unfortunately. Like only about that and rarely much others. I learned by books from all over the world on history of the world wars and much more and much of Yugo--

My grandpa was in the Yugoslavian military during Tito's rule so I have no doubt he sang this song. Also, my great uncle was in Tito's government with my great aunt. He was even at his funeral carrying his casket. So obviously, I am related to lots of people who are slavic.

Tito was amazing man. No other socialist leader has ever been like him. All the rest have eventually gotten corrupt or misguided, he though remained strong and fought for his nation! People were free to leave Yugoslavia (in plenty of other regimes that wasn't possible) and they remained because it was simply so good. There was no unemployment , people that were not able to find job in yugoslavia were encouraged to work outside of country temporarily. It was simply amazing ^_^

    Tam nekje med svobodnimi polji,
kjer iz zemlje klije mlada rast,
njemu, ki vodnik nam je najbolji,
smo zložili pesem to na čast.
    Tito, naša svetla bojna slava,
Tito, naša dika in naš vzor,
    koder vodi tvoja nas zastava,
    za teboj pojoč gremo navzgor!
    Naša misel širi svetla krila,
mlada moč nam v srcih živo vre,
    razorana zemlja obrodila,
bo na jesen kruha nam za vse.
    Tito, naša svetla bojna slava,
Tito, naša dika in naš vzor,
