Man I thought X-Men 97 was the perfect Wolverine, but this is better than that figure by far! Can't wait to get this guy in hand.

Astonishing upgrade!
He’s to tall look how much bigger he is vs the 97. The height to me was the biggest draw over the mafex. This one looks bigger than the mafex

That had a disc and ball at the neck and this would be perfect

You said it's a great representation of the source material. Compared to most comic panels, aren't the blue and yellow too bright? And who drew Logan's face with a nose that wide, etc?
To be fair I also said there’s an argument to be made that it could be darker. I think representation is the key word here. It may not be perfect but it’s the best representation of the source material we have in action figure form. But of course that’s just the opinion of one man. Could it be better? Sure. Do I like it? Absolutely.

Hasbro still can't do a double ball peg for neck

The animated series blue is noticeably lighter than Astonishing Wolverine

Should hopefully be pretty easy to cut out a little clearance in the back of his neck to look up further. Also probably would benefit from some custom head sculpts, theres something in the comic art for that suit thats just lost in translation the way they seem to blend realism and 2d comic style
There really is something lost. As good as the sculpts are at this stage, i absolutely understand what you mean. As far as the mod to the neck - an easy problem to solve
This is should be the standard for marvel legends from now on. The best wolverine to date. Hasbro has been knocking it out of the park recently especially with recent 85th anniversary and strange tales reveals. Definite pick up.
Nope not the best, too tall which isn’t a big problem for me honestly on its own, but paired with the fact that there is no bootcut, that is a failure

Fair. Thank you for checking it out. I’m always thinking about ways of improving. The intro came as an idea to “soften” the opening instead of it just landing on me right away. That could certainly change in the future

This still doesn’t look as good as the love triangle/Apoc Buck. That body mold had better muscle definition and just symmetry to him
Love triangle is still my overall favorite Wolverine. But I do think this one does justice to its source
Seems like he is too tall, he should be way shorter than Emma especially considering she is wearing heels.
Valid point. He’s roughly the same height as most Wolverine’s in the line. But he shouldn’t be as close in height to characters like Emma as he is.
Does the claws come off
You can remove them with a little force
