The girls will look back at this time and cherish it! Luke reminds me so much of my father...the first short story that I had published was, "My Father's Dogs." About how would teach his rescued greyhounds to be dogs then find them homes - except for the handful he couldn't give up, and the only time I ever saw my father cry... it is so amazingly comforting to know he was not alone in his difficulty in returning to normal life after being in a war- dogs saved him as well.

Those cavaliers with the tutus 🤣 so funny and sweet. One of the things I love about dogs is that they're as excited to do something for the 100th time as they were the first time, they don't become bored or jaded. Charlie quietly enjoying the festivities 💖 and what a wonderful environment for the girls: fun parents and the team, fresh air and...lots of dogs. 💕💕

Happy birthday Gus🎂 Panda Charlie it was so wonderful to see you and to see you looking a little spry❤️ Little Zeus and his jumping off the edge of the pool absolutely makes “ my candy heart melt” - he is too adorable for words! Little Miss Bridget, you did very well today and I don’t think it will be too many more lessons before you’ll be paddling with all your mates🤗 Would love to know what the camera crew thought of small dog day and just the day in general, all the activities, all the excitement, just everything😅. I know if I was there for the first time seeing small dog day, my face would be so sore from smiling so much😃😃
Oh Charlie, that sweet fella was bloody bombproof. He just decided where he was going and he went, little dogs running or not! It's only in slo-mo that the full effort Zeus puts into his dives can be appreciated. At normal speed it looks like an adorable 'plop' in. Great to have all these to look back on as the evenings are so grey - but we've got past the Solstice now.
What a huge day! I bet everyone slept exhausted that night. What a beautiful party the Mums threw! Even the TV crew seemed to start to enjoy themselves. So happy to see Charlie home again.

Would love to know what the camera crew thought of small dog day and just the day in general, all the activities, all the excitement, just everything😅. I know if I was there for the first time seeing small dog day, my face would be so sore from smiling so much😃😃

Oh Charlie, that sweet fella was bloody bombproof. He just decided where he was going and he went, little dogs running or not! It's only in slo-mo that the full effort Zeus puts into his dives can be appreciated. At normal speed it looks like an adorable 'plop' in.
Great to have all these to look back on as the evenings are so grey - but we've got past the Solstice now.
