My sister saved a Dove and nursed it back to health for nearly 2 months, then set it free. Now It reacts and calls when any of my family starts talking, and follows us around 5 years on. My sister passed away a year ago. But It still comes to her window. Animals can be so incredible.

I saved my puppy ‘s brothers from a flood even I almost drowned in 14 the flood was so harsh it drowned me but still I saved the dog with another boy and kept it at my house and now after the flood I left it outside because their mom is waiting for them but sometimes they will sleep in my house

My family saved and nursed a crow back to health after finding it injured on the side of the road (looked like a car hit it). He left on his own when he was ready and we had tons of crows that protected our house from then on. Guess he told his friends 😁
It didnt look like it was going to make it, his break was bleeding. It was laying at the edge of the road below the sidewalk. Cars kept going by but we stopped and held traffic for a min while mom jumped out and got him. The cars going by probably kept other birds away idk

The older I get, the more I'm convinced, that there are two types of people on this planet. The ones with empathy to other living beings and those that see everything around them as something to serve them. You see an animal in distress, you help the best way you can.
I am so touched by these animals and their companionship. I wish all humans had a heart for this angels. I wish to build a shelter someday in my country Ghana. There is no established animal rights here and it's so sad
48 years ago I rescued a bobcat from sub zero temperatures and lack of food. She decided to spend the winter with us and despite my offering her freedom every day, she stayed until spring. Then she came back in the fall and for several years she brought family with her. Then she stopped coming back but her family continued and her grandchildren and great grandchildren. This went on for over 25 years. The first time I heard screaming out my bedroom window (I had a room in the basement). I opened the basement door and she looked at me, felt the warn air and ran inside. I got her some food and put the plate of food on the floor and sat on my bed to eat my own and watch TV. When she was done she hopped on the bed and snuggled next to me and fell asleep. We were instant best friends for life. That's how it started. I was 12 at the time.

I must say that I love animals more than human beings. Dogs never lie. Body language is everything to them - both their own and humans. My dogs saved my life, growing up abused by three people. They would do their best to put themselves between me and my abusers and risked their own safety. I've always had dogs, cats and other animals all my life, even when I was traveling internationally. Dogs are the greatest companions! Please, please rescue a dog or cat today. They need your love and they need to give you their love.
Many years ago I had a Labrador retriever. I remember how when I gave him a hug, he would wrap his head around my neck and just sigh. I miss my Baxter every day.

I once saved two stray kittens who were abandoned by their mother, 7 1/2 years ago! Unluckily, they survived for only a few days due to their inability to survive without their mothers milk. I still have not forgotten them and rescue or help any animal in need, thinking only about them as coming back to me! I STILL MISS THEM A LOT!!!

The photo of the Jaguar has been wrongly identified and the story is a little different. The Jaguar was actually rescued when he was just a baby. He was adopted by the army after hunters killed his mother. The soldiers who raised Jiquitaia still take him to swim every day. I know that because I’m Brazilian and the story is well known here.
I was living in a dairy farm when my mom found a baby deer who had been abandoned by her mom. We raised her (we called her Baby Legs because she was extremely long legged) with several dogs, cats, and cows. We released her but she stuck fairly close to our home. Would visit and play. She ended up getting a scar from getting caught up on fencing. We saw her again not long after with twins of her own 😍 recognizable by her legs and scar. We were very happy to see she had done so well.

These stories, don’t they blow your minds? I think we’re so mistaken about animals, they have more humanity than we do sometimes, I think we should rethink about the way we’re looking at animals, I do respect ancient Egyptians for the way they understood animals and especially cats for example.

My neighbor has cows and they herded them yesterday into a holding pen to be picked up with a truck to go to the slaughter house, late yesterday arvo 2 males jumped two solid steel fences(!)... I didnt know, but the 2 yearlings were standing at my fence having a stare off with my two horses, ... I looked at them and purposefully told them to go home and join the others still free in another paddock,.... They totally understood me,... Just like horses you can see by the way they move their ears etc.... Then I realized I had to open a gate for them to cross a bridge back to the other half of the herd,... They didnt know me but our communication was spot on and I walked past them without them moving to open the gate,... Calmly they walked across that bridge, with the last one stopping and looking back at me.... Then continued on its way... Next morning the owner told me they were ment to be in the soon to be meat group..... Somehow I was glad that I could help them to live another couple of days..... Im going to stop eating meat all together,... Cos I know what will happen to those dignified creatures in a couple of days!!! Soooo sad...

If one believes God, they know he made no mistakes😏 & we were put on top to provide, govern, & heal everything on earth. (I swear I'm not hating anything or pretending we're superior, but) If som1 were to prove God, they could say human's are the proof. We hav smarts & creative abilities that are unmatched, our comprehension of morals & crime is higher, & we don't only care for own, but anything that needs help, even deadly predators, that no deer or owl would help. 🤭🤭 It's stunning to me. I rescued once a Donkey from eating an unwashed carrot but he kicked me 😳 ..😂😂 jokes aside, Animal's love is the purest .When I come back home everyday from work and see my Dog running to me makes all my daily stress go away..🐕❤

And a true story...In july 2008 we adopted our beloved dog crazy Daisy from the local shelter. She was 7 month old at this time and a very crazy, funny and beautiful sweet big lovebug 😍😍😍 We spent almost 11 years with her and it was the best time in our life... She was a mix of great Münsterländer, a german hunting breed, and a St Bernard...Her 95 lbs were pure love and passion. She loved everybody and everything and had the sweetest soul ever... Sadly she passed away in August last year cause of cancer 😭😭😭 We were and are so heartbroken and she took our hearts with her... First we said no new dog but we couldn't stand that emptiness and lonelyness in the house anymore... So we found Marley and this was kind of creepy... We didn't saw a photo of him before and when we saw him we were shocked positivly...He is looking like a little brother of Daisy... They told us before that he is very shy and anxious and he was afraid of men... When we arrived he saw me and started running into my arms and he was so happy...Some minutes after cuddling with me the whole time he did the same with my husband... It was clear that we adopt him and when we went to the car with him he didn't look back... At home we showed him everything and he layed down after a while... Suddenly my husband and I had a strange feeling and Marley got up and wagged his tail like crazy... We had the feeling that Daisy is around us and she is happy to see that this sweet buddy Marley has a life with love and care he deserves and she knows he will be loved every single second... This happens every evening between 8 and 10 o' clock and it touches us in the same second... Daisy was my shadow, my soulmate, my big baby girl and she never left my side... I am atheist and I don't believe in things like that before but now I am more then sure that this special bond between Daisy and us will never end and when the day is coming and I am leaving this world I will be reunited with her and nothing can separate us anymore... Love you so much sweet giant baby girl and I miss you so hard... You were the greatest gift ever and all those people who don't know you are missing the sweetest soul ever...😍😍😍😘😘😘

I have a wonderful family and our bonds are very strong. I am a giant animal lover because animals are the best beings on our beautiful planet. They are our best friends they never lie they never cheat and their love is unconditional. I am happy to hear you are from Africa so my husband do. He is from Senegal and we are there every year. I know a lot of religions are spreaded over the country and also things like Vodoo for example. My husbands family is a completly muslim family but all are very kind and tolerant and it was never a problem that I am Atheist. So my husband and I made the decision to help the family - that's normal but also we spend money monthly to a home of children without pain parents and to the local shelter. Jake: Once I lived next to a wooded area in western New York not far from Buffalo. There was a variety of beautiful birds. In the winter, I'd feed them and some of them got to know me and became friendly. There was a raccoon that joined in the eating. I bought a large bag of peanuts in the shells and started feeding her. Soon she entered my garage with three babies. When I looked out my back window to garage and saw the bag all ripped open and all of them sitting on their rumps enjoying the peanuts, I could not be angry it was so cute. I named the mother raccoon Rosie, and she got to know her name and trusted me with her babies. About two months later, boys in the neighborhood were shooting at the birds as they were eating the food. I told them to please stop shooting at the birds. A few days later, they shot Rosie and dangled her at my kitchen window. I sold my place and moved to Florida, but I'll never forget the cruel injustice done to animals by humans.

My family saved and nursed a crow back to health after finding it injured on the side of the road (looked like a car hit it). He left on his own when he was ready and we had tons of crows that protected our house from then on. Guess he told his friends 😁

It didnt look like it was going to make it, his break was bleeding. It was laying at the edge of the road below the sidewalk. Cars kept going by but we stopped and held traffic for a min while mom jumped out and got him. The cars going by probably kept other birds away idk

48 years ago I rescued a bobcat from sub zero temperatures and lack of food. She decided to spend the winter with us and despite my offering her freedom every day, she stayed until spring. Then she came back in the fall and for several years she brought family with her. Then she stopped coming back but her family continued and her grandchildren and great grandchildren. This went on for over 25 years. The first time I heard screaming out my bedroom window (I had a room in the basement). I opened the basement door and she looked at me, felt the warn air and ran inside. I got her some food and put the plate of food on the floor and sat on my bed to eat my own and watch TV. When she was done she hopped on the bed and snuggled next to me and fell asleep. We were instant best friends for life. That's how it started. I was 12 at the time.

I must say that I love animals more than human beings. Dogs never lie. Body language is everything to them - both their own and humans. My dogs saved my life, growing up abused by three people. They would do their best to put themselves between me and my abusers and risked their own safety. I've always had dogs, cats and other animals all my life, even when I was traveling internationally. Dogs are the greatest companions! Please, please rescue a dog or cat today. They need your love and they need to give you their love.

That Brazilian soldier with the tamed jaguar is really hard to believe. He's a natural-born animal trainer to be able do that.
The photo of the Jaguar has been wrongly identified and the story is a little different. The Jaguar was actually rescued when he was just a baby. He was adopted by the army after hunters killed his mother. The soldiers who raised Jiquitaia still take him to swim every day. I know that because I’m Brazilian and the story is well known here.

First of all,, that's not a jaguar, it's a leopard.
I was living in a dairy farm when my mom found a baby deer who had been abandoned by her mom. We raised her (we called her Baby Legs because she was extremely long legged) with several dogs, cats, and cows. We released her but she stuck fairly close to our home. Would visit and play. She ended up getting a scar from getting caught up on fencing. We saw her again not long after with twins of her own 😍 recognizable by her legs and scar. We were very happy to see she had done so well.

My neighbor has cows and they herded them yesterday into a holding pen to be picked up with a truck to go to the slaughter house, late yesterday arvo 2 males jumped two solid steel fences(!)... I didnt know, but the 2 yearlings were standing at my fence having a stare off with my two horses, ... I looked at them and purposefully told them to go home and join the others still free in another paddock,.... They totally understood me,... Just like horses you can see by the way they move their ears etc.... Then I realized I had to open a gate for them to cross a bridge back to the other half of the herd,... They didnt know me but our communication was spot on and I walked past them without them moving to open the gate,... Calmly they walked across that bridge, with the last one stopping and looking back at me.... Then continued on its way... Next morning the owner told me they were ment to be in the soon to be meat group..... Somehow I was glad that I could help them to live another couple of days..... Im going to stop eating meat all together,... Cos I know what will happen to those dignified creatures in a couple of days!!! Soooo sad...

We always say humans don't deserve animals. But I think it is fair to say that these humans really deserve them. What they did is beautiful.

And a true story...In july 2008 we adopted our beloved dog crazy Daisy from the local shelter. She was 7 month old at this time and a very crazy, funny and beautiful sweet big lovebug 😍😍😍
We spent almost 11 years with her and it was the best time in our life...
She was a mix of great Münsterländer, a german hunting breed, and a St Bernard...Her 95 lbs were pure love and passion. She loved everybody and everything and had the sweetest soul ever...
Sadly she passed away in August last year cause of cancer 😭😭😭
We were and are so heartbroken and she took our hearts with her...
First we said no new dog but we couldn't stand that emptiness and lonelyness in the house anymore...
So we found Marley and this was kind of creepy...
We didn't saw a photo of him before and when we saw him we were shocked positivly...He is looking like a little brother of Daisy...
They told us before that he is very shy and anxious and he was afraid of men...
When we arrived he saw me and started running into my arms and he was so happy...Some minutes after cuddling with me the whole time he did the same with my husband...
It was clear that we adopt him and when we went to the car with him he didn't look back...
At home we showed him everything and he layed down after a while...
Suddenly my husband and I had a strange feeling and Marley got up and wagged his tail like crazy...
We had the feeling that Daisy is around us and she is happy to see that this sweet buddy Marley has a life with love and care he deserves and she knows he will be loved every single second...
This happens every evening between 8 and 10 o' clock and it touches us in the same second...
Daisy was my shadow, my soulmate, my big baby girl and she never left my side...
I am atheist and I don't believe in things like that before but now I am more then sure that this special bond between Daisy and us will never end and when the day is coming and I am leaving this world I will be reunited with her and nothing can separate us anymore...
Love you so much sweet giant baby girl and I miss you so hard...

I am a giant animal lover because animals are the best beings on our beautiful planet.
They are our best friends they never lie they never cheat and their love is unconditional.
I am happy to hear you are from Africa so my husband do.
He is from Senegal and we are there every year.
I know a lot of religions are spreaded over the country and also things like Vodoo for example.
My husbands family is a completly muslim family but all are very kind and tolerant and it was never a problem that I am Atheist.
So my husband and I made the decision to help the family - that's normal but also we spend money monthly to a home of children without pain parents and to the local shelter.
So we can help humans and animals and this is our perfect life 💝💖🐾💖💝

I couldn't imagine having an animal come to my house everyday, and then finding out that someone shot him or her.
Jake: Once I lived next to a wooded area in western New York not far from Buffalo. There was a variety of beautiful birds. In the winter, I'd feed them and some of them got to know me and became friendly. There was a raccoon that joined in the eating. I bought a large bag of peanuts in the shells and started feeding her. Soon she entered my garage with three babies. When I looked out my back window to garage and saw the bag all ripped open and all of them sitting on their rumps enjoying the peanuts, I could not be angry it was so cute. I named the mother raccoon Rosie, and she got to know her name and trusted me with her babies. About two months later, boys in the neighborhood were shooting at the birds as they were eating the food. I told them to please stop shooting at the birds. A few days later, they shot Rosie and dangled her at my kitchen window. I sold my place and moved to Florida, but I'll never forget the cruel injustice done to animals by humans.

Well speaking of this reminds me of something that happened in a point of my life my family and I were in Saudi Arabia and we went to a restaurant we came of the back door and we found 2 street cats starving 1of them walk to my foot slowly and they started crying made my start crying long story short they live with me and my avatar is my cats hugging and cuddling.🐈🐈🐈
