Theo making it out like researching every team’s transfer activity this window before doing a segment on who should be bought/sold is the work of a neek tells me everything I need to know about him. He’ll do the bare minimum to start a podcast, say things out of subjective love for players, pick something out of other people’s work and present it as his own while actually doing a poor representation of said work, then shout and moan whenever someone calls him out for his ignorance. He’s shown us numerous times that he doesn’t actually understand football beyond what a passive weekend watcher would know. His care for the sport doesn’t go beyond the impetus that FPL would bring to change teams every week and check on arbitrary metrics for individual performances.

Imagine having a football podcast and accusing people of caring to much about football. And getting tight knickers, when people have expectations of the facts/info conveyed in said podcast. To antagonize people pointing out real facts is an easy way to push away your most engaged viewers and listeners. The difference of Flamengo and Fluminense is as big and important as Manchester United and Chelsea.
I know this podcast is mainly EPL, so that might be excused but when you're even putting down people pointing out the flaws said about the EPL-players it's not a good look.

theo being a football analyst is like having a bagel as a toenail
You can’t pull the, “we’ve got lives” card as an excuse for not keeping up to date, fact checking yourselves or knowing the bare minimum about what’s going on in football. Especially as you’ve all got a football podcast that is part of the reason you have the lives and opportunities you all have.
It would have taken Theo & Reev less than ten minutes to research their entire list last week before recording. And the episode itself was half-arsed in the absence of Lewis with it basically being an hour of lists.
It’s for the most part not hate comments, it’s genuinely people saying, “do a better job” if you want to keep your audience or even grow it. Especially considering there’s no shortage of other football pods to turn too.
Theo brings so much humour to this pod just wouldn't be the same without him
