While yes I’m a Clemson fan, I’m really just a college football junkie that doesn’t just consume anything that’s Pro Clemson. Appreciate the kind words! I have a lot of respect for the Clemson program and I think this Clemson team is much better than people are giving it credit for. Opinions are based largely off Clemson going 8-4 last year, but anyone who actually watched their games last year knows that this is a team that was about 3 plays away from being 11-1. They were far better than the typical 8-4 team and are now healthy in a way that they just weren't last year. I do believe Georgia is the better team with a more talented roster, but Clemson will give the Dawgs everything they can handle in Atlanta. I am expecting a fight.

Bryant Wesco and TJ Moore both true freshman receivers, and likely will be the names you hear if Clemson makes this game competitive. If those guys pan out plus the healthy other receivers this will be the best receiver unit Clemson has had in many years.
Yeah. Im familiar with both Wesco and Moore, but if you are in the business of having to count on true freshmen to make an impact, you’re probably not a championship contender. I generally leave freshmen out of discussions like this bc the fact is we just don’t know either way.
@@gloryuga fair but Clemson has a history of Freshman receivers making massive impacts. So personally I find it valid. Especially as that has been clemsons 2nd major issue outside the O-line. And of course the O-line will still suck this year. Matt Luke was a massive pickup but several years for him to fix that unit fully

UGA hasn't scored less than 16 points in a game in 2 seasons. When Clemson faced UGA last they were proving to themselves they could win the big game with a new OC and new QB. UGA is a program that now KNOWS they can win the big game and their offense is light years from where it was in 2021. Better WR and RB rooms and a veteran QB in their 2nd year in the offense. Should be fun.

Clemson doesn’t recruit a ton of 5 stars, but the lower star players they recruit have a pretty good success rate (ex. Khalil Barnes, Tyler brown, avieon Terrell, Blake miller etc…
Going to have to pose some sort of threat with the pass game for that to happen. Clemson's OL is improved but still not good enough to just line up and bully Georgia up front. Going to need the pass game to keep defenders out of the box.

Promoting from within is admirable in all professional ecosystems. Football is no different. Promote and surround yourself with those that you trust that actively buy in to the culture. The system can be taught, but culture priceless and unteachable. Clemson goes after the guys that seek the culture they have built- coaches and def players alike.
Recruiting? Clemson offers the fewest players of any big program and even fewer than almost all other programs. Dabo has done brilliantly....unless of course we praise transfer portal usage when it conveniently helps our argument/ agenda, while at the same time we curse the transfer portal if its hurting our agenda.
Clemson doesn’t recruit top 5 consistently because they don’t take as many players as most schools. They have just as much talent as anyone else in the top 10 and I think they are the 6th most talented team in the country when it comes to the blue chip ratio
Not always the case. They have 85 scholarships to fill like everyone else. But even if you want to go that route, Georgia has finished with an average recruit ranking 2 full points or higher than Clemson each of the last three seasons. The point stands. Clemson recruits really well, just not in the top-tier of teams. They recruit in that next tier.

Could happen. Clemson is a good football program with one of the best defenses in the country and Georgia has one of the most difficult schedules in the country. Not crazy. But Clemson is going to have to get A LOT more out of Klubnik than they got last year if they are going to beat Georgia.

That is true, but the same is also true of Georgia i.e. Ladd McConkey, Jordan Davis, Daijun Edwards, Javon Bullard, etc.
Concentrating on these WR shouldn't be what GA is worried about. If Clemson wants to beat GA the way to do it is with Phil Mafa on the ground!
