Amanda fills me with complex feelings, one side is like a terrifying demon who is hypnotizing and traumatizing children, and the other side is the daughter that barely knows what happened and is just so heartbreaking

It's actually so sad, like I feel so bad for Rebecca getting turned into Amanda. It's so sad seeing her almost remember who she is and whay happened, but never quite fully realizing what happened. And all of those kids who went missing because of the originally innocent show 😢 They did a good job on the game, but it's a pretty depressing story.

Theory: Amanda was once a normal human in the real world and the reason she says "that's what I was afraid of" is because she can feel her corpse in the real world rotting

When I first played this game before I leaned the lore I thought "i feel myself rotting, but it feels far away" was symbolic for how we all know we'll eventually die but put try to put off thinking about it because it "feels far away".

my theory is that wooly was something hameln ent. put in as a distraction for amanda/rebecca to keep her from assuming things as this, and that’s why he acts “normal”, but behind the scenes it’s all hameln trying to keep amanda/rebecca contained either for the audience to keep what theyre doing secret or to prevent her from making those said assumptions and not suspecting anything
