I have the Aiyima AO7 max and the Fosi ZA3 and I like the sound of Aiyimas over FOSI. Ill prolly get the A70s for a 3rd system in my tiny NYC apartment! ChiFi makes it sooo easy!
Thank you for the video! There continues to be exciting releases from Aiyima and their competition. That Aiyima combo is indeed excellent for the price. I’m looking forward to when these companies incorporate HDMI ARC into preamps or integrated amps.
I also purchased an A70 during the event, and after using it, I felt that the A70 was excellent in the upper midrange and treble, and I fell in love with it when I played ballads and symphonies
More and more reviewer's are just selling platforms, and i don't trust a word they say, thankfully this channel is straight forward and honest .. So thanks for that .
You can hear the delta of the two amps in the upper frequencies/cymbals. The Aiyima is slightly smoother in the shimmer than the Leak. This is a characteristic of the TPA Class D chip of which I've heard many (mainly diy). The limitations of you tube and output transducers (HD5XX in my case) make any real attempt to differentiate very difficult, but high frequencies changes typically stand out (for me).
I couldn't tell the difference between the sound of A70 and Leak 230 either. It is quite a feat for an amp so small to match the quality of the Leak. But there is one thing we cannot tell the difference of through our headphones while listening to UA-cam, and that is the depth and width of the sound-stage. There might be a difference in that respect. Anyway, I wouldn't trade the 230 for A70, I believe that size matters.
How would you compare this to the Aiyima A08 Pro that I have and really like. Should I upgrade to the A70? Or maybe just get the 48v 10a power supply for the A08 Pro? 😊
@@UTILITARIANTVUK That is EXACTLY what I did. Hopefully it arrives today. Since I changed out my loudspeakers. Gave my Jamo C-603 to my daughter for the rig I put together for her to my (much better) Paradigm Prestige15b. Even though this is my "Secondary Rig" sounds better than most and sounding really really good. If it ain't broke don't break it! Right!! lol. But seriously.......
the Lintons are not revealing speakers, at all, I upgraded mine with much higher quality crossover parts, but they still came way short of my desired level of detail and open soundstage, With the speakers i use now the difference would be obvious to just about anybody imho,
Sir , what would you suggest someone looking for great sound quality , warmth , giod dynamic range between Aiyima A70 and A07max ?which one is a better sounding amplifier?
That happens to me every time I open a box. Sneaky they are. As for the amp, would you say it's better than the V3 / ZA3 / A07 ones? It's also got XLR and a phono sub out (very handy)
If you couldn’t hear the difference, it might alao be because Lintons are not particularly revealing speakers. I’m saying this as a (happy) Lintons owner.
I get that, one can have to much in regards to detail from time to time and like a long hard study paper it can knock you into the land of nod before you want to go there…😂
It's hilarious how none of these audio reviewers actually seem to use the cheap products they review, even when the verdicts are glowing. Same thing with the watch guys. 😂
Some of them are very good for the price and I use most of these products. I have a Fosi Audio amp on my PC with a Topping DAC. I also have a set up in another room, using some Wharfedale 12.2's connected to a Fosi Audio P3 Pre-Amp and 2 V3 mono's!
I mean, just look at his beautiful stereo setup, simplistic as it may be, and compare it with it cheap chi-fi stuff sitting on top. Who in his right mind would switch to that silliness?
The thing that 'annoys' me with such products...they can't seem to stick to the one form factor to allow stacking, etc. There's no symmetry when using pre-amps, amps, phono pre-amps...

Terrific little amp . Thanks.
The Aiyima A70 is phenomenal for the money. Roll OPA828 opamps into it and be prepared to be amazed. Neutral, transparent, clean, with no coloration.

I thought the leak sounded a little cleaner on the highs . Great review
Nola viper 1A with silver gold oil Mundorf on tweeter, and Jensen Pio among others, they replace clarity PX
👍👍👍. Loved the review. Thanks

The A70 is likely better but it won't be night and day. I'd stick with the A08 and get the bigger power supply.

The Leak sounds more relexed in the high mids.
Great review..How does this compare with the Fosi stuff and the A07 Max ?
It's as good.
Leak sounds much more transparent and brighter.
Yes, i thought so too.
For My Dali Oberon 5,
the Fosi ZD3 DAC + Aiyima A70 is as good sound and power as Marantz PM6007 ? Or it is day and night deference.
There wouldn't be much difference IMO.
@@UTILITARIANTVUK thanks you 🙂
A70 sounded crisper but the leak sounded fuller?
Are you Happy with the Leak 130?
I have the 230 and I am very happy with it.
@@UTILITARIANTVUKdo you have any Reviews?

It's a close one but I personally prefer the A70.

The V3 mono's are probably the best I've heard amongst the Chifi amps but the A70 is close!
How it sounds compared to aiyima A07max and fosi Za3 u should compare it both D class amps
Thanks

If only Aiyima released a DAC that had XLR outputs to match with this amo

@@UTILITARIANTVUK Yeah, for a TV or computer they're fine, but for your primary stereo probably not so much...

Someone who can't afford the "beautiful stereo setup"
