As a designer myself I liked the new logo, its clean sophisticated and sexy!!!.... I think it also goes well with the new collection, although I personally wasn't crazy about the whole collection... I'm sure you dedicated a lot time in the marketing an target audience... Good Luck with the new collection!

PART 6 - T shirt printed on the inside: don't like this specific piece but interesting concept that has potential. Good idea to try it with different colors. - Pink jacket: I am not a fan of the hoods, I think that it makes a clothe generally tacky, the back is interesting though. - Zipper closure / snaps cardigan: this is one of my favourite pieces. So hard to find a well fitted elegant cardigans nowadays. This is something that you may want to investigate even more.
@Thagenral I hear what you're saying about the suits, i personally love the fact that a black man has a line of suits and would love to see more young black men suiting up and looking classy within our own realms but you are right about the marketing of the suits, they would just be another suit until the person said "it's sean jean" i wish Obama would have chosen the suit they designed for his inaugural - that would have helped marketing SJ suits a ton.
the old logo stands out a bit more but as the label moves to a higher echelon i can understand why the change was needed. the jacket at the end was crazay fly. not feeling the acid wash jeans though it is slated to trend up so it's a smart move on the design teams part.

Your devoted demo are folks like me who are in our late 30's early 40's going to work, casual Fridays and looking for jobs; we have kids. This line does not reflect the sofistication Sean Jean is capable of. Will there be more suits? Have I missed something? Luv u both...-M

Why change the logo? Everybody recognize the old Sean John logo, I think more like MDirtyInc that says keep the old one for som collections and use the new one for others. All the clothes were awesome, your team must be locked in (yeah I follow you on twitter), congratulations for them, and I love the way they mixed the materials used, nice work!
PART 4 - Denim pieces: don't like them, don't like this return to this washedout trend, I don't think it is beautiful and I think it is agressive to the eyes. But I don't understand that you want to tap into that as this will become the hit next year. Also I generally don't like baggy jeans. It feels too limited. You may want to also make low waist jeans but that would be more fitted (not skinny jeans of course). Cf. 506 Levis Jeans (marketed in France).
