In our video, Chris Modoo and Austin Pollak discuss the essential pocket squares that you should have in your collection. - Навчання та стиль
I enjoy the look of the madder silk squares. The vibrancy of the colors is striking and eye catching.
My first Ramply purchase was the 5:40 square. I highly recommend it. This quickly became my favorite flamboyant-pattern square that works well with is conservative colors. It is surprisingly versatile. It's the one I automatically reach for to try first.
At first, I bought a wide range of squares from all over the place, but since my wife got me 2 squares from Rampley, I don't want to wear any other. Maybe ever. The most versatile ones & such quality, beauty, elegance, I just love them!
Thank you, we're glad you like them!
Great content and presentation. My pocket square collection includes a number of single solid colours as fallbacks for those occasions when I cannot find anything more suitable, such as avoiding a clash of too many different patterns. I have tended to buy my pocket squares with a particular outfit / ensemble in mind, but I am now appreciating the added versatility of the Rampley & Co Fine Art range. Austin, maybe it was your posture, but your smart beige jacket looked like it was pulling on the button fastening.
I prefer dark colored, textured ties, no patterns, plain & simple. And with pocket squares, I prefer more fun patterns, exotic designs/artwork, but no plain/solid colors. Just my personal taste. I own 3 of Rampley & Co. pocket squares and I’m in love with them ! Everyday casual wear I do the puff fold, evening/dinner occasions I do the reverse puff fold, and serious business or formal occasions I do the presidential fold !
If you find that your squares are disappearing in your pocket, a good trick is to put something in your pocket to fill the bottom, Another smaller silk pocket square, a paper tissue or anything else that is not too bulky will do the trick.
Good idea, and that is something I have tried. I now prefer to use a piece of thin cardboard cut to the depth and width of the pocket, but with about 1/2 inch showing and wrap the pocket square around that. It avoids any risk of bulge in the pocket and you can also use it to support a presidential fold. It works for me.😊
Thanks for the video. What makes a good flap pocketed suit jacket as a candidate to wear as an odd jacket?
I would say texture, colour and pattern…
Where is that Shantung from?
This is our Navy Shantung Silk Tie, available at Rampley & Co. We're excited to inform you that this particular tie will be restocked by mid-June, so please check back then to get yours.
Presidential fold looks more conservative, executive and less flashy to me for professional settings. Perhaps too much time watching the TV show "Mad Men" and Don Draper.
Straight fold makes my head explode, don't know why. With the rest of the outfit very exacting, the shape of the pocket square is my one display of contrasting non-structure.
