Losing is the best way to learn. And having it filmed so you can break things down after is invaluable . You learn some basics, you go in for some sparring and half of them (if you are lucky) go right out the window because it isn't muscle memory yet . But now you know WHY you have to sit down on those basics and practice them over and over and over again .

Typycally when you throw straight kicks you need to defend the center line. Fighters usually throw a cross straight down the pipe to counter/retaliate.

first fight - shame it was not full contact, he wobbled the dude twice and still lost (I am not really savvy when it comes to these rules, I fight bare knuckle and it would secure a win for me 100%), second fight nice distance control with teeps, circling around the opponent even though it would be better if you circled behind his lead hand, but it worked anyways, so good job. I would recommend circling behind the opponent's "front jab hand" at all times as the opponent was getting lost as soon as you were hitting from behind this hand. Third fight first round good in and out Soviet style, good distance management, very good head movement in the second round, the progress is quite noticeable. Mike is a great coach, sorry for my bad English, not a native speaker. Still enjoy the content, thanks ❤
