Pokémon | 1.2.3 X Dokimeki Diary - Theme song mashup

Here's a Mashup that most of you people may not have expected combining the Journeys japanese song (1.2.3) with the recent Horizons op song (Dokimeki Diary).
I gained this video idea when hearing the Horizons song for the first time parts of it felt like the song had taken some inspiration from the Journeys song so taken that in mind I decided to mash some of the acapella vocals from the Dokimeki Dairy song with the 3rd version of the 1.2.3 song that way both songs can have the same matching pitch, I hope you all like this one!

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who thought Dokimeki Diary had some similarities to 1.2.3. The guitar rift before the first verse of Dokimeki Diary really sounded similar to the melody used in 1.2.3. Great mashup!! The songs really intertwine well together :)

I've listened to many mashups of video game-related music, but "forced" mashups using songs that don't share the same melody at all are few and far between, and it's a rarity that they can pull such a feat off, compared to regular mashups.
This, however, absolutely blew my expectations out of the water! Somehow, you've made it work really nicely and somewhat smoothly! Really well done!
