Gamecube Adapter: www.jfjeasypro...
This person ROCKs Awesome videos GREAT explanations LOTs of useful details Thank you
Thanks 🙏🏽
*UPDATE*: Another thing to note is since the GC discs only touch the outside of your pad they only wear that outside as well. So if you are doing a lot of GC discs it can wear down the outside of the pad and then when you go to do a regular sized disc you will not get full contact with the pad due to the outside of it now being lower than normal.
I would recommend using one pad only for GC discs and another for the rest of the discs, so you don’t get that issue. Also, i wouldn’t recommend JFJ pads to be either of them lol 😂.
Something to add, you can just buy the adapter for 10 plus shipping. Since the difference in pads is negligible, I’m going this route.
Yea true. I had to buy the “gamecube” pads to figure out they actually are the same pad lol. Typical JFJ experience lol.
You put in the work to save me. Thanks much!
Lol 😆 happy to help
dont have many Gamecube games, dont have gamecube but got a Wii system that plays Gamecube. Think the kity to exspensive being arund £60 shipped to UK. So that will have to wait for a while befor i buy one direct from USA ac cant find them anywhere in the UK
Yea same here regarding not really having many GameCube games. I just don’t come across many and don’t actively search for them either. It’s definitely only worth it if you have a lot of GameCube games and basically buy a second machine to keep as the GameCube one
Can Meguiar’s 105/205 be used on GameCube games? Also have you tried the Bauer pads on them?
It can but you have to use the GameCube adapter plate or else it will cut into the pads. I didn’t get a chance to try the bauer pads with GC games but i will try it out and post a video. The bauer pads are thicker so that may/may not cause issues
A cheaper alternative that I own, I feel would be much better than buying that kit is the elm gamecube disc adapter its around $15 and you can use the regular pads and don't have to worry about any conversion kits. Before in the early 2000's there used to be a bunch if them floating around for dirt cheap but elm in recent times is where you can get it from.
I tried out the meguiars liquids when I first got my machine. It turned out okay but when I switched to the 3M perfect it series I never looked back bro. The jfj compounds are trash 🗑 it took me numerous runs to fix a heavy scratched disc to get it barely working. With the 3M it was 1 run and done!
Once my pads are done for, I'll look into the bauer pads but so far My meguiars Dff5 finishing pad has been doing me a lot of justice.
Yea i the JFJ stuff is horrible. This 3D compound and polish has been doing great but i will get some of the 3M perfect it and give that a shot. Always good to have multiple options to use in case something gets changed or no longer available. I’m getting that pad you mentioned as well.
@GamingRenewedLLC Agreed I made a video on it when you get a chance. You might like some pointers 😁
Drop the link to the video lol
@GamingRenewedLLC I would lol but everytime I tried it gets removed let me try again 🤣

hey man what are the mcguiars compounds to use? i see u have a few different ones. for all disks, i bought this machine and have been trying figure out best to use and when to use each.
Best use case is to use the meguairs 105/110 when you are buffing and the 205/210 when you polish.
Have you tried Novus liquids?
No. I did just buy some 3D compound and polish which will be here tomorrow. Gonna do a video on those to see how they perform. Apparently they are really highly regarded in the automotive detail industry.
