Ranveer Singh's transformation was so good that they didn't even recognize that it was him lol. They kept referring to him as "that dude", "this man" and "the antagonist". 😂
Ranveer was the male lead in Bajirao Mastani, and you guys have also seen him in other trailers such as Befikre, Dil Dhadakne Do and Ram-Leela. He's pretty much Ranbir Kapoor's biggest competition.
MalDux @jaby koay u should know this guy "ranveer Singh" he is insanely talented...i was hoping u ll take his name and praise him but i think u dint recognise him in 1st place😅😅
He is more diverse than ranbir kapoor. Ranbir might feel the competition but ranveer wouldnt.
Yeah exactly he is the only actor how can sort in any role and no one can play ram, bajirao, and Alauddin Khilji and Ranbir Kapoor is not even near him 😂😂
No subtitles? There are like 15 languages subtitles available on the official trailer
I think they reacted to old trailer cause afterwards it was changed to "Padmavat"
I m amazed how clever achara is.. She always go with the detailing.. Yes achara u r absolutely right about the half moon flag.. ranveer kingdom is mughal so they were muslims who invaded india during those time.. Another major dinesty was rajputana kingdom from rajasthan who were indian hindus . Shahid kapoor is playing the great rana ratan singh from mewar kingdom of rajputana and deepika is his wife who was famous all over india for her beauty. When the Turkish king allaudin khilji hears abt padmavati he get mesmerised by her beauty and decides to roleover the mewar kingdom in order to get rani padmini.
Nitin Nagar Khiji was way before the Mughal era. This story takes place at least 300 years before the Mughal era
syed feroz @Syed Feroz we know how much concerned you’re about India as you say “weak history as Rajputana” what are you showing by this. Bro first come to Rajasthan and see the valour and bravery of Rajputana they don’t even have one like Rajputs
So impressed with Achara picking up these religious inferences already from the trailer and getting that flag part right. You go girl.
For non hindi speakers, the subtitles which are being showed in trailer are wrong. This is actually what they said in the trailer :-
1. The one who put the worries at the tip of the sword is a Rajput.
2. The one who deals with ocean while sailing a sandboat is a Rajput.
3. The one who keeps fighting even with a chopped off head is a Rajput.
and the final one
4. The Rajputi Bangles are as mighty as the Rajputi swords.
bollywood filmz He’s also an AVERAGE actor not meant for an EPIC film like this
The best thing about this story is, Khilji went to such lengths to get Padmavati, killing the king in the end, BUT he could #NEVER have the pleasure of even #seeing Padmavati's beauty with his own eyes. You see, Padmavati and all the ladies in the palace, whose husbands got killed in the war, committed JAUHAR (not Sati). They all jumped into the fire VOLUNTARILY. Motive??? Well they'd rather die than let an invader lay a finger on their body.
People said it's promotion of custom of 'Sati'. NO !!! SATI practice FORCED women to sit on the pyre of their husband, believing a woman lives only to serve her husband and has no life beyond that.
JAUHAR IS DIFFERENT. A BRAVE woman VOLUNTARILY jumps into a huge pyre, because she'd rather die than be raped by the murderer of her loving husband. That's SELF-RESPECT, NERVES, DETERMINATION, WINNER.
They BURNT themselves to ashes because the knew how the Turks were. They would even violate a dead body. Let alone a living woman.
That was the only time Rajputi women committed JAUHAR. They never did this when other hindu kings won over their army. Because they knew they'd be treated well despite being defeated.
Theres actually debate about that, some historians claim that Jauhar did happen in only hindu wars too.
In fact, there were three Jauhars in Chittorgarh: 1. Year 1303 by Queen Rani Padmini (Padmaavati) 2. Late 14th Century by Queen Rani Karnavati ando 3. Year 1568 by Hindu women in the fort
Infact, sati was never a hindu culture. Sati itself means name of goddess. Tell me any "sati" incident before Arabic invasions.
Dothrakis were modelled after the the nomadic Arab fighters. Khilji was a Turkic invader who might have had similar barbarbaric traits because of heavy Arab influence. The story of the movie is based on the legends of Queen Padmavati who took a bold step to save the dignity of the Kingdom and it's pride. This story contains high sentimental value amongst Indians and also the Rajput community and provides a legendary example of what being a Rajput meant back then.
Still Rajputs are most proud and royal community than any other community
Yes, Khilji was a Muslim ruler who got obsessed with Padmavati and he seiged the Rajputo kingdom. Rani Padmavati jumped into fire along with many other Rajputo women to save herself from being taken by Khilji and his army after his king lost the battle. This was called Johar... we still have that place of Johar in Rajasthan.
Amoghavarsha R not fiction..truth thst Seculars will hide and will say Fiction to probe Invaders innocent
Another stooge another day to save invader and try to portray them as innocent
we cant really say its true or not...the only source is a poem....and most poems are there to glorify the royals...so dont really trust it completely...
2014 Haider 2016 Udta punjab 2017 Padmavati. Finally Dis guy Nailing evrythng what he does. Hit like for Shahid Versatile Kapoor.
I felt, his udta Punjab character was one dimensional.
Haider and Kameeney are best shahid kapoor movie.
Shahid is so underrated bcoz of khans ..... he is the versatile actor after amit ji and nawaz bhai
Shahid is an actor with so much potential but some how he is one of the most underrated actors in bollywood.
love to see this guy getting into films like this. he deserves such films.
Best ever reaction by Achara, so present and perfectly flowing with the subtext. Your curiosity and understanding of emotional weightage for specific scene makes you pleasant to watch. It's nice watching you react openly and so naively.
Queen Padmini, the Helen of the East, whose legendary beauty caused a historic war. She was all happy with her hubby till Alauddin Khilji, the barbaric king, decided he had to have her. When he captured her husband she tricked him into believing her soldiers were her maids and got her husband right back. When he finally won the war, killing her husband, she and all the other women jumped into the fire - death before dishonour. All Khilji got was ashes and bones. Will be watching this, obviously. My one bollywood movie a year quota.
Brian Chezaroy yes this is just a poeticized version of facts...the fact is Chittor was of strategic value to the emergic Delhi sultanate, the fact is Padmini's existence is only in folklore and not in historical records not at least until 200 years after the conquest of Chittor by Alauddin Khalji, Allauddin has been portrayed as a barbaric ruler but if you study historical records you'll find that he reformed the taxation structure, regulated markets and did many such reforms during his reign which benefited the sultanate, the only complaint I had after watching the movie was the stereotypical portrayal of the Hindu to be all honourable and just, and the Muslim ruler to be all cunning and barbaric...
Shomita Angel Goswami as per most historians, padmavati never existed, the battle happened but padmavti never really existed
+Brian Chezaroy
the Sufi poet got all the details and story from the bards of the area, if you know what they are and their importance in the rajputi traditions.
I agree, the visuals are incredible and so well crafted. From costume design, set design, to cinematography & lighting. I love how they are giving weight to the small details in the scenes to make it look rich and full
Koricon Nala there is one mistake in that movie. In 12th century Hindu women were not used to cover their head. It is Islamic practice though in later centuries Islamic rule forced Hindu women to cover their head.
Koricon Nala as you aware of what isis is doing to non muslim girls and women and destroying non muslim monuments, temples . These Islamic invaders did this in India too from 712 CE to 1707 during their rules and invasions . But we fought hard against these Islamic invaders that is why we are still Hindu majority though we lost present day Pakistan and Afghanistan region to Islamic invasions as these areas had 60% Buddhist population due practice of non violence in this region these areas became Muslim majority.
Ranveer Singh is killing it as Alauddin khiljee, brilliant
Warrior of God+ Turkish rulers were not necessarily fair. The Central Asians (Mongols, Afghans etc) were believed to be fair, not the West Asians (Turkish, Persians etc.)
0:46 Wtf you just read half story Queen Padmaavati did jauher (jump into fire 🔥) She is the symbol of Self-respect and beauty 🙏
Achara Kirk!! U r sooo smart!! 😍Love from India to the amazzing two of u!! 😍😍
The scene where he's shown 4 mirrors is not because he was vain, well he was so but that scene is a historical event where he was supposed to choose a mirror to see queen's image in. Raja offers truce to khilji. And khilji requests that if he can only see the queen in the mirror once he and his troops will leave. But when he sees her, he gets even more obsessed and in the end the queen kills herself and her chamber maids in a pyre to protect their modesty. Achara knows more about history. Yes the crescent is symbol of Muslim armies usually but this war was not for religion. Merely because khilji was obssesd with the queen but yeah he did belong to Muslim dynasty. Even the raja was already married but apparently the queen was happy with the Raja. Although Deepika looks gorgeous but I guess she looks the same in previous 3movies by sanjay leela bhansali. Ram leela, baji rao and now this, she looks like the same character. However, ranveer has shown diversity. I always wanted to see him in a negative role. He has that kinda vibe.
Most of the movie is based on a poem of questionable authenticity by Muhammad jayasi. So I think its still question able whether it happened or not. But the facts that are he was not a foreign invader he was born in Delhi. So he was an Indian.
By the way ....,......how much time did it take u to type it......??????????
Mia Wonders Bang on Mia.. This was an epic tale of courage. The queen by doing a 'jauhar' basically sacrificed her life to protect the dignity of the kingdom and her self respect. She could not fathom ever belonging to another man other than her husband. So all the women whose men were fighting on the battlefield believed and followed the queen into the Jauhar - A large pyre. There were apparently 16000 women who did this Jauhar for the same reason as the queen. When the soldiers heard about the Jauhar they wrapped a saffron cloth on their bodies and wowed to fight the enemy, trying to conquer their motherland, until either the enemy was defeated or they lost their lives. It is a lesson of great courage and a sense of dignity in ones honor.
Yes achara...alaudin khilji was a muslim ruler
Manoj H.P. the traditional was not Sati it was called Jauhar... In sati the wife use to immolate herself on her dead husbands funeral pyre while Jauhar was a kind of a mass sucide where the women use to burn themselves on funeral pyre to avoid dishonor and the men use to rush out to die fighting!!!
Manoj H.P. its not sati....its johar...sati is when wives sat witj their husband on their funeral pyre...whereas in johar...they burnt demselves to protect their honour
Advait Deshpande Sati is actually JAUHAR but bloody British mentioned it SATI to propagate Christianity in India by showing Hinduism as evil...Sati name was given from that Sati episide of SHIV PURAN which has tiatally different concept than wt JAUHAR is..but British played well
Manoj H.P. you need to improve your history lessons. Being a sati and doing jauhar are two different sides of the coin.
Love you jaby koay....

Achara nailed it... beauty with mind👍
Padmavati was an exceptionally beautiful princess ...Ratan Sen, the Rajput ruler of Chittor, heard about her beauty from a talking parrot named Hiraman. After an adventurous quest, he married her and brought her to Chittor. Alauddin Khalji, the Sultan of Delhi also heard about her beauty, and attacked Chittor to obtain her. Meanwhile, Ratan Sen was killed in a combat with Devpal, the king of Kumbhalner who was also enamoured with Padmavati's beauty. Before Alauddin Khalji could capture Chittor, Padmavati and her companions committed Jauhar (self-immolation) to protect their honour.
Several subsequent adaptions of the legend characterised her as a Hindu Rajput queen, who defended her honour against a Muslim invader.
It's a Fictional story written by Malik Mohammed Jayasi almost 200yrs later to earn his bread and butter in Mughal Court. He was also a drug addict.
Similar to ANARKALI (also Fictional)
you guys glorify "jauhar"??? thanks god britishers aur indian reformers ki wajah se sati aur jauhar ruk gye...
wrna bc aaj bhi har ladki ko rape ke baad jauhar hi krwate tum....
Ranveer singh is insane...this is going to totally his movie ..he killed it.
Dhiraj Das no u are wrong.this movie will be of deepika, about her courage and bravery.if you really thinks that the guy who was so much evil and even bisexual is going to run this movie then please change ur point of view because this movie is not about how cruel and bad looking khalji was.it was about how beautiful and brave padmavati was.i really don't want that bisexual and rapist and lusty khalji should get that much limelight.i like ranveer but not khalji.
The second Achara said Bajirao Mastani, my heart skipped a beat ❤❤
The number of views on this channel indicates that we Indians just want validation from other people outside our country
2:43 the original reaction ✌
*Alaudin khilji was successful in his conquest. But Padmavati, along with many other ladies, performed JOHAR also known as Sati. She burned herself instead of being taken over by Khilji. Her sacrifice is still remembered in many parts of Rajasthan. She is treated as goddess and epitome of purity.*
Ps: I know difference between Johar and Sati. I was just trying to explain in laymen terms. Most people don't understand Johar, so I mentioned Sati.
good... sita as sati and padmavati as the queen who performed jauhar... you guys remember women for this...
(bohot bura lgta hoga a ki band ho gya sab... wrna apni biwiyon ko yahi krwate bc)
Neeraj Dubey it's a fiction written in Padmavat novel written centuries later.
You have no idea how many times I came to this channel and refreshed just to see this. You took a long time dude
I love how Achara is always spot on!
this is a true story ..........its our history ........we still have all this places in Rajasthan ......this film is made on our history
achara was 90% right...and remaining 10% no one knows
vishal gaikwad 10% is the secularism propaganda like Islam is religion of peace and Hindus are intolerant.
Waiting for your reaction ...finally dropped

I love your reactions so much, Jaby. It's always so much deeper than just a cursory watch and reaction. Only you would first check Wikipedia to make sure get the context.
Yay!! It's #15 on trending, Jaby!
You two are so cute and adorable!!!! 😍😍😍 Big Deepika fans! 🤣 I loved it when Achara said, "I would go to war for her!" 😂😂 You two should do more videos together, you make a great team! ❤
Looking at the trailer no one can ever imagine that reel life villain and heroine are real life husband and wife
Achaara is soo intelligent..... she should be the host.....
Achara - you are beautiful and intelligent, u ve a good memory.
That reaction !! When he saw Ranveer 💖💖 damm😍
Yieeh!! I also began to love Shahid Kapoor after watching Haider, Kaminey and Udta Punjab! I hope his character is great on this one 'cause I adore watching him in serious/passionate roles that highlights his acting chops. ;)
That background score is sensational and classically dramatic, for me it's the soul of the trailer followed by its opening few shots. The visuals and the shots are good but could've been of a higher level and even better finesse to match the epic quality of the background score.
This movie is going to open the floodgates of eyes and tears in theaters for sure. I can feel it right now.
jaby you do stuff that all indians love.....and i am an indian......so i love u jaby
You two make a beautiful pair !🇮🇳❤
Achara is really a wise lady..knowledgeable....
Sunny Dutta roy That's because Most Women are Caring, Kind, Loving ! So grateful to God for Women!
Thank god for Achara otherwise Jaby wouldn't understand half the stuff he watches.

I m imaginning achara in the costume of deepika its just a imagination but achara will beautiful in the costume great reaction
Of course deepika looks disgusting in padmavati costume either way, imagine if they took aishwarya then.
Once of the best works by all 3 of them!
Achara Ooo , so intelligent, so perfect about story line not only in this trailer. I have watched almost all trailer reaction video, she watches it with full heart. Love from india.
Rani Padmini basically refused to surrender herself to khilji after her husband's defeat and she along with thousands of women (widows of the soldiers) performed "jauhar";burnt themselves !
Ritu Kumari yup according to a poem. The character of padmini and them performing jauhar is all fictional. But it's a well written poem quite a famous one for it to be made into a movie so much later. Nice story
Probably all the later Jauhars are fiction as well, which happened in the same fort in later centuries. Probably the Ratan Singh is fake as well, who didn't have any such queen, but somehow there's a palace for her in the fort even today, probably he didn't lost then and the fort was always in their hands thus Sisodiya's would never come and present rulers of Mewar wouldn't have been Sisodiya. But he is. Read Khilji's account. He didn't even had to attacked Chittor then. Because his wife was fictitious lol Read History, visit the places instead just blabbering what everybody else do with no knowledge of history.
Pradeep Choudhary i think u should re-read your hisyory book cause as per history after invasion into fort khalji was pissed off that padmavati got better of him by committing jauhar and he decided to erase her from history her image her name her story everything but she lived in heat of people who knew her story afterwards the only trace left of hers was via poem and folk songs.....
Spoils of War was the name of an episode (the most epic one in my opinion) of this season of Game of Thrones. What is Jaby talking about? 😂
Arun Arjun Especially considering he kept mentioning Dothraki, which means he is a watcher.
Annie he definitely is a watcher . And even if not Achara is a hardcore fan. She could have said otherwise.
But she said Bajirao Mastaani ,so it kind of balances it 😂
So this reaction channel is much liked and famous bcz this guy has a good sense in respecting indian culture and way of reacting so keep on bro

The moon and the star is actually not an Islamic sign
It was actually started by an muslim emperor who thought that islam should also have a symbol like the other religions
Otherwise islam has no symbols

I watch your videos only to see her (Achara❤️) expressions.
Great reaction mate!
Jabys tongue in the next few months will get twisted if he constantly says Hindi words😂😂😂
#Jaby koay
Name of Padmavati Movie has been changed due to some issues, now it will be called #Padmavat
Jaby just to get excited and little educated about the movie and Indian history. Do research and read a little about the history of rani padmini, Khilji and ratan Singh in some detail. It's really really intriguing and fascinating.
*Did You Know* : Ranveer didn't took bath for a month to look perfect for khilji's role.
I loved your review. Achara is spot on when she says that they didn’t show Padmavati enough esp when the movie is named after her. I think this movie will have her only as the central idea behind the entire war and struggle however the story will majorly focus more on Sultan Allaudin Khilji. This is a tragic movie since everyone knows the end of Padmavati and her Husband while Allaudin will continue to live for many years to come. Ranveer Singh has done a great job preparing for his role of Sultan Allaudin and he is sure to steal the show from start to end, not just because of his acting but because he plays the the role of terrible, cruel yet one of the greatest military commander who ever lived. His character is greater than the entire movie...
The number of views on this channel indicates that we Indians just want validation from other people outside our country
DAMNNNN JABY a million views!!!
Although I kinda do wish you recognized the intense "dude" as Ranveer, AKA Bajirao. Lol
The best reaction page. I've been following for 2yrs. I'm malaysian sikh, god bless yall. Good job.
Its amazing how this guy is getting so many views for every reaction video he makes. It really highlights how Indians constantly look for validation from a third person for all the things they do. An apt indication of the way how our society functions.
Because Jaby may not realise, this video is #14 on trending in India. I believe it should be incentive enough to release his reactions as early as possible once a trailer drops.
I don't no how believe it or not the trailer is #2 on trending in Australia
Achaara is really smart she explained everything to the Jaby
Khilji wanted to win queen padmavati .... But that fool never knew that a girls' respect is more than her life..... When her husband was defeated in the war... And khilji came for her..... Queen Padmavati and all the girls of that kingdom ended their lives they all jumped into the fire alive..... 🙏
Malik Muhammad Jayasi himself written that Padmini story is a fiction
And khilji
He was a legend
You could've just turned on the captions. 👍❤
When the trailer was released yesterday there weren't any captions. I just checked the actual trailer video and it seems as if subtitles has been added today i believe. Besides, there's only three or four lines of dialogue in this entire trailer.
Dipak Gupta There are captions now but they completely change the meaning of the dialogue. That's like a horrible translation
Yes, Isha I agree. And I also wanted to mention that Jaby was so annoying to me throughout the trailer. He kind of underestimates the endeavor of the team.
React to ittefaq trailer !!!!!!
If Achara is in video I really loved to watch it as she explains her reaction more elaborately and she is so beautiful that I really fell in love with her.......
I want to know the date on which this old trailer was launched. Can anybody help?
After the incredible success of Bahubali, I see a big shift in Bollywood. There is a huge inclination towards historic, glamorous movies. Finally a good news for Bollywood. Kudos!
SHREY MAHAJAN sanjay leela bansali is doing this types of films since a long time. Ram leela, bajirao mastani and now this.
Oh so you havent seen historic movie in bollywood before baahubali ?
