Hello, everyone! Glad to be back, sorry for the long wait on this one. I already announced the reason I was gone for so long on Twitter but I will post it here as well. My grandma was in the hospital with heart failure and was in pretty bad condition. She is doing better and is back at home now, but that's why I was away for a bit. I hope to have one more video up this month on the day of Halloween! For those wondering I am going to be dressing up as a Zombie on Halloween day and going out with a group dressed as Walking Dead characters. I will probably have it recorded for a video on my vlog channel. Hope you all have a great Halloween! -Brandon

I always go all in on Halloween costumes. A few years ago I tried Pikachu and it actually worked ok except my ears and tail. So I did something easier last year and went with Marie from Splatoon. Not that bad if I do say so myself.
I seriously hate the fact that you seem to have said that girls who try to cosplay as pokemon are trying to sexualize pokemon. When i went as pikachu i wore that outfit and had no intent to be "sexy" and i don't really think people saw me that way. (exept maybe that Hypno cosplayer i saw and a few others) But i do hate it when people do try to sexualize pokemon. Its just wrong
I think that went on for the fact that if you search for girls and cosplay most of the ones you find are really sexualized and that's why he keeps on mentioning it. Not that every girl is trying to do it.
I will be pikachu next year but its not a dress its a hoody as for where i live it was snowing on Halloween this year so yeah its pretty cold but you can't walk down an isle of halloween costumes without finding sexy disney princess or sexy nurses....i don't think he ment all girls tho

(It was a mashup of the pokerap, the original game intro, and the first themesong. :D ) We all had costumes, and I think we actually handled our costumes pretty well. I was jessie (no obnoxious hair though xD), my friend was misty, and her bf was ash. As for our pokemon, we had a pikachu and a squirtle. For pikachu, I lent my friend a yellow shirt and yellow wrap skirt that she just put on over her normal clothes, made ears and a tail, and it looked fine. It wasn't skimpy, nor was a terrible. For squirtle, my other friend basically just wore a blue shirt and dark glasses. He didn't have the shell backpack we were supposed to borrow but it worked out pretty well. ^_^ I'd say if you're going to dress up as a pokemon, do an interpretation. Don't do it for accuracy, do it so it's obviously the pokemon but still looks good. I plan to be blaziken in the future, but I'm not doing a body suit. It doesn't make sense when I describe it, lol. >.

At the top of looking ridiculous, dressing up as Pokémon doesn't really work for Halloween, unless you dress up something like a Dusknoir or Trevenant. You are supposed to look scary, like a demon or something like that. That's what Halloween is all about.

I *tried* to be Rayman (he's the one on the right in my profile picture) but failed absolutely miserably, I had to make do with what I had. Only 1 person knew who I was, and 2 people thought I was a Teletubby and 20th century cowgirl respectively. If I'm doing the same thing this year, then I'll make the hair with Instamorph, improve the hoodie from last year, try to find white mini gloves and make sure the shoes are the right colour.
I guess the only times a Pokemon costume can look good is when the Pokemon's proportions are close enough to a human's. I once saw someone with a really good Lopunny costume.

Last year my friend was pikachu(the onesie one) and I made a mimikyu costume(sorta a poncho). We fought each other by pelting each other with some of the candy intended for trick or treaters. Not sure if I'm going to reuse it this year or use my zombie wedding dress again. May depend on the weather. (mimikyu costume was made with fleece and even was worn in the middle of winter for warmth)
I remember trick or treating when I was younger and one year I passed by a kid who dressed up as a vileplume. I'm not kidding you. And the flower was literally the size of a coffee table!
I actually had a few costumes I had in mind to make for Halloween but I can't decide which one to do. My choices were the Steamlord from Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, Father Martin from Outlast, Greed from The Binding of Isaac, or Aegislash (I personally thought this would be an easy pokemon to do rather than doing Cofagrigus or Chandelure). I'm leaning towards the aegislash.
I know somebody who wanted to be pikachu for Halloween and the costume was like this: They wore a pikachu wool hat and got an inflatable body suit that doesn’t cover their head and a pikachu tail. They ended up looking like a stripe less, fat pikachu.

I have the Pikachu one considered "Sexual" Some people actually told me it was cute. BTW there is also a Kid's size of the "Sexual" one. So the "Sexual" (Which is totally not sexual) Pikachu one is better than trying for Togepi or Gengar, so, my point is, IT IS NOT SEXUEL.

Last year my friend was pikachu(the onesie one) and I made a mimikyu costume(sorta a poncho). We fought each other by pelting each other with some of the candy intended for trick or treaters. Not sure if I'm going to reuse it this year or use my zombie wedding dress again. May depend on the weather. (mimikyu costume was made with fleece and even was worn in the middle of winter for warmth)
I think I'm going to make myself an Umbreon costume. It's not quite one of my favorite Pokemon, but I do sill like it so I'll probably go for it.
I remember trick or treating when I was younger and one year I passed by a kid who dressed up as a vileplume. I'm not kidding you. And the flower was literally the size of a coffee table!

I actually had a few costumes I had in mind to make for Halloween but I can't decide which one to do. My choices were the Steamlord from Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, Father Martin from Outlast, Greed from The Binding of Isaac, or Aegislash (I personally thought this would be an easy pokemon to do rather than doing Cofagrigus or Chandelure). I'm leaning towards the aegislash.
