Trivia facts: I'm surprised that the same author also worked on Redo of Healer. There are many reasons why World's Finest Assassin made biggest change and improvement from his previous work is putting the focus on fanservice. It's obvious that the author was very ashamed to be the name that ended up on Redo of Healer being rated as the worst anime and he saw World's Finest Assassin as his redemption. He didn't want to be known as "the guy that made Redo of Healer." Everything he did was make World's Finest Assassin more fun to watch rather than this dark and exploitative tone that we seen from Redo of Healer.
He didnt seem ashamed of Redo, i remember in interview he mentions he put the most controversial stuff possible to attract attention

I just realized the beginning scene hasn't been foretold yet in the Light novel, or at least the English copies. This is how it starts in the Light Novels, but it's never mentioned again.
Spinoff idea: he takes the novice in to help him with the plane, somehow uses the exposed wires to radio aircraft control, and the two fight their way out of an airport.

If there's one thing I love about this episode, it's the slave girls being sold off to the nobles at the very start.
