- 24-year-old Neha Hiremath was stabbed multiple times to death on the campus of BVB College on April 18. She was a daughter of Congress councillor of Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation Niranjan Hiremath. Niranjan Hiremath promised Neha at her graveyard that he won’t spare the murderer till death. Earlier, BJP chief JP Nadda, Pralhad Joshi visited the residence of Niranjan Hiremath in Hubbali on April 21.

In Karnataka BJP is scared of losing big-time. Crash from 26/28 to 15/28 or below looks certain. BJP's betrayal in depriving funds to state, zero development, corruption and poor governance, failure to deliver on the promises by Modi. Present Cong govt is blatantly pro muslim and that is not likely to erode the popularity they have earned by delivering on promises made to the poor people.
Karnataka was a Hindutva stronghold even before 2014. Modi - Shah combine has broken the back of the state. Lack of honesty and trust deficit with the party leadership are the key factors. A lesson in lost opportunity to Modi leadership. It is BJP Vs BJP. Massive goof up. BJP cadre is working very hard but their best may not be enough.
Assurances of eradication of corruption and dynastic politics have all been proven false. All that remains is communal card in the name of fighting against minority appeasement. BJP has succeeded in communal/caste divisions and that is the only weapon available with Modi for electoral gain.
The future of India can be secured only if the people of India participate in the elections with a responsible attitude.
