Thanks for sharing the video mate. Had a chuckle watching that hiccup at turn one, but at least you saved it! That final lap was really nice to watch :)
I run the DCCD full rear - about 30/70 split with TCS and Stability off. On an off-throttle corner, the rear Torsen diff will go into lock mode and rotates the car thinking that I am rallying. With the STi's short wheelbase, this is the perfect recipe while so many Subie drivers crash their cars. 😬
Great driving Ed, That lap was well done. Looks like Josh was actually pulling away from you in the straight. He was starting a lap towards the end of your lap and you can see how fast his car pulls. Holy moly Halka has some straight line speed in that WRX.
Josh was actually on his cool down lap from his first 1:53.7 flying lap. He appeared to be keeping up a moderate pace as to not hold me up. Yes, he clearly demonstrated the power of his car on the straight. I had faster laps times than Josh in all 3 runs. He won overall because of the % points modifications added to each racer. Out of the top 4 cars, I was the only car with a Top Mounted Intercooler (TMI) and A/C still intact.
Hand placement is a huge subject in advanced driving skills. In summary, I prefer 10-2 placement instead of 9-3. I am a very comfortable with the car and PittRace. I am using the lightest touch on the steering wheel to feel every imperfection on the road surface meanwhile getting tactile feedback through the steering wheel and tires.
GoPro Hero 9 shot in 4K. Accurate GPS data taking from Dual GPS receiver (red box sitting on dash). Everything stitched together in RaceRender software. Looking to replace GoPro with DJI or Insta360. Getting tired of GoPro's move to a subscription model with membership.

good driving, but personally I don't agree with your hand placement on the steering wheel

@@PFCoach44 try to stop wrapping your thumbs under the wheel. They are your strongest digit.
