definitley one of the better ultrakill remixes out there, its probably really difficult to remix Hakita's songs in the first place because of how batshit crazy they are so props to you for making a version of my favorite song that goes hard af
thanks! im usually pretty bad at transcribing songs, especially chords, so i just used Analytomaniac's transcription of the song as a reference and did the sax by ear. transcribing amens as chopped as deep blue's however is absolute hell so i made my own patterns, which i think worked out nicely.
how the fuck did i miss this one, it's the best version of deep blue i've heard the only thing i really miss is distorted sax but even without it gah damn is this hard-hitting remix
Well done! Really catchy, but I hoped for something more with the sax part. Im gonna listen to this a lot :) ! Edit: I think you really understand ULTRAKILL's drum feel that almost every other fan ost maker doesn't get. It's supposed to be chaotic and glitchy instead of basic and repetetive. I know it's still a remix but I think my point stands.
i'm planning on uploading my discography to newgrounds soon, i've just been putting it off for a while since i've been more focused on creating more songs
oh yeah i forgot to mention, heres the link to my ng account ataraxia05.newgrounds.com/ theres also a link to it in the about section of my channel and on my carrd
it probably came from somewhere else and was reuploaded, but the one i used is Kimkim's Amen Break - Harded on Sample Focus. if you wanna use it heres the link samplefocus.com/samples/amen-break-harded as for the drum loop in the calm section of the track, thats just a slowed hot pants break that i compressed, eq'd, and saturated. you can find it here rhythm-lab.com/breakbeats
170-250 bpm amen break
*intensive flex*
hella underrated, deep blue's my favourite ultrakill track
