Love this singer so much he has a one in a million voice love him so much
Serene vocal sound and even when Wayne doesn't OWN the song, he OWNS THE STAGE as an entertainer,
...and add to that his instrumental genius, by golly, Wayne Newton is most deserving of the title Mr Las Vegas! American icon indeed.

Sure miss those shows at Caesars when visiting Vegas years ago. Seeing Wayne each time was the highlight for me, as well as once in Orlando...will never forget it. Love the way he sings September Morn.💖

Love the songs he sang in this video. Puts his feelings and soul into these songs as usual. I am watching Wayne on my phone and though this show was years ago, I feel like I am there in person. Wayne enjoys what he does in entertaining his audiences. I think he is very happy to sing and play his fiddle and I hope and pray he gets to for many years to come. He is gifted, feels others feelings, does not act like he is better than others. A very kind man with a precious soul. Hope I can see him in Vegas this year in person and be entertained by this awesome man that gives his all. Hope I get a front row seat at least one of the 3 nights. Thank you for the awesome video. Keep putting them up and I will continue watching them. Thanks again.

Saw the very young Wayne Newton on an episode of Bonanza and could hardly believe my eyes. He was so good looking and is still hanging on in the fight. Love you and Danke Schoen!

Yes, the recorded versions are usually longer than the live performances. The singing portion of the video is 2:00 vs the CD of 3:14. Nice to know that you are such a great fan that you recognize the difference!
I think anything he did back in the earlier days were pretty awesome!! Wayne has always been a very talented man and Don Vincent and Wayne together made some really great memories for me! Thank you for all of the wonderful posts of Mr.Las Vegas! lol

Not my bag at all, to much like he's trying to be Elvis and dragging in Old Elvis fans by recreating the same kind of stage set up of singer's and musicians, karate moves, big belt etc.
Only thing missing is the Liberace inspired Elvis cape.
The guy is no doubt musically very talented and certainly puts on a show, but the thing lacking most is his rather weak voice, it's barely there and seems intentionally drowned out by the rest of the stage
I have seen Elvis live 3 times and Wayne too many times to count! Wayne is certainly not trying to be Elvis! Elvis is a legend and a man that people loved with every word he sang or spoke, but Wayne is an incredible human being who has so many deep feelings for what he does! He’s been very blessed with a beautiful voice and had every right to perform at the Hilton in the late 80’s.
Elvis and Wayne were good friend’s and he would never try to be Elvis! Wayne was the best performer to ever walk on the stage in Las Vegas in his day! He’s been performing there 60 years, not to mention a lot of other cities and the USO TOUR for our troops! I have to say that Wayne performed at the Fremont downtown at age 15 with his brother, then he went out on his own and was at the Sands, Dessert Inn, Frontier, Harrahs, Caesars Palace, MGM Grand, Aladdin, Bally’s and The Las Vegas Hilton! He had amazing talent and sang many songs in a 2 to 2 1/2 hour show 6 nights a week, 2 shows a night! I was a huge fan of Elvis, and there will never be another one, but believe me Wayne, in his earlier days was the best entertainer in Las Vegas and you couldn’t ask for a more humble person. He isn’t the Wayne I watched perform in the late 70’s and the 80’s and even the 90’s and early 2000’s, but he is still the man I knew all those years ago, and still is to this day!
Wayne didn`t have an inch of the King`s talent.. Wayne`s voice is weak. There`s hardly a voice there at all. You can barely hear him at times. Elvis was one of the best singers in history. To compare Wayne to that is not fair to Wayne. But Wayne put himself into this situation, by doing Elvis`s material with the same arrangments at Elvis. And Elvis Presley was/is a global superstar. Wayne Newton is NOT.
@@wk1kat1 Elvis should NEVER have been playing Vegas.. He was more than only a "entertainer" Elvis was a rock god. A living legend. Elvis had to do Vegas, because his manager was an idiot who liked to gamble. He lost millions in Vegas, and used Elvis to pay off his gambling debt. I heard that Wayne Newton was payed more than Elvis in Vegas.. How could that be?? A decent manager would have made the hotel pay Elvis a record high salary, but Elvis was payed less than Liberace and Wayne Newton in Vegas. Elvis made money on tour. Not in Vegas. Elvis should have been touring the world in front of 60 000 people like the Stones and Paul McCartney are doing today. The Las Vegas Hilton tried to book the Rolling Stones, but were told to go fuck themselves. The money that was offered was much less than what they was making on tour. It does not make financial sense for huge artists like the Stones, or Elvis to play tiny theatres in Vegas. They belong on huge football stadiums all over the world. Wayne Newton however.. Well, the man has never had a no.1 single. He has never had a no.1 album. Why is he a "star"?? Elvis sold 1 billion records, and was payed less than Wayne Newton in Vegas.. That`s a joke.
