My son is almost 1 and a half and I’m always getting questioned by family when I’m going to start potty training, how long do I plan on using diapers it’s SOOO annoying. Like why does it bother YOU? I’m the only one caring for my son since day one and if I’m not worried about it neither should anyone else!

My 3.5 years old boy is doing exactly the same thing he’ll per but is terrified to poop on the toilet. I’ve stressed and stressed and cried along with him and am at the point where I’m done fighting it and will let it happened when he not terrified for whatever reason.

And yes 🙌 I feel like that’s something I had to mention because I know I’m not alone and it’s annoying when people expect kids to learn something at a certain age and that right there just stresses us moms out because we think it has to happen before a certain age and we then end up stressing the kids out, which only worsens it! So, we simply need to just go with the flow ,encourage them and wait!
You are right about the potty training. My son was ready at 3.5 years old and he learned so fast and it wasn’t stressful at all because he was ready. Nico will be ready in no time 😊. The shrimp caldo looks bomb.
Amen to all kids learn differently! My son will be 3 in November and I’m sick of people asking me if he’s potty trained already. Like, no he’s not! He’ll be when he is!! Lol but seriously it’s frustrating!

My daughter just finally got the hang of going #2 & she’s 4 lol like no one talks about how hard the pooping phase is 😩 I tried everything & we’d both get frustrated. Finally like you, I said let’s take a break for like a month and revisit & guess what she still was terrified for some reason. Weeks later I got her that dang gotta go flamingo pooping toy ($50😅) and that was what finally convinced her to try it and I cried cuz it felt like she was never gonna do it. Good for you taking it at Nicos pace, you’ll see in no time it’ll click for him to just do it and then finally no more diapers 👏🏼
Yes! It can be very frustrating and that’s why I’m going with the flow because it’s not something we need to stress about! They will eventually learn! 😌 and Omg I have not heard of that flamingo toy😯 I’m going to look into it! Thank you ☺️
Just started the video but had to ask, kids get fall break for two weeks?! Lol here in NY there is no such thing! But so good to know, is this for all schools in Indy?! The only days off during this time my son gets is for a couple of religious holidays and Columbus Day but that’s only 3 days for the whole month
Omg I didn’t realize that not all schools have that! 😯 but yes, it’s two weeks off for fall and two weeks in December for winter break as well. Now I’m curious to know what states have that and what states don’t! 🤔
@@SharleneColon even December here is only a week for them! Lol I think our longer breaks are in the beginning of the year only. I think it’s February and April where they have a week off for each. Plan is to move to Indy next year so I love all this new info, thanks girl!
When I heard you saw 2 weeks I was like daaaaaang! 2 weeks of fall break?? Here in Arizona the kids get 1 week of fall break & in December they get 2 weeks crazy how it’s different everywhere 🙂
Awe he said he doesn’t want to go to school. He was traumatized and remembers 😩 I think it’s slower for boys to be potty trained. My mom said I potty trained at 10/11 months 😂 I’m always fast in everything. My nephew took awhile to be potty trained. The puzzle 🧩 is a cool idea. I don’t have the patience. You’re better than me 😂 You need a little Sharlene girl with all them boys. Don’t kill me 🤣 I know no more kids hahaha
