They made Straight Shot unrewarding as well since you cant earn badges.

straight shot revival is literally the same mode as trios revival but better imo. You have the same respawn mechanic, getting into fights is also better because teammates don't have the option to land on 5 teams thinking they're fucking faide, but you can still get into fights right from the start as there's always a team close. The rest of the match is also better because the zone is smaller from the start. Literally everything is better in this mode.
@@eco_2128 not if you like landing on 5 squads. Thats what I want to be doing not just looting and fighting one team but each to there own I do get your point
@@Dndoo that's the thing though I want to fight too, but the only way to do that is to hot drop and like 90% of games end after less than a minute, that's not fun. If you don't want to do that you land far away and loot for the whole game those are the two situations you have with regular modes. With straight shot you can pick up two fully kitted weapons and fight because there are no teams directly on you stealing your loot, but close enough to get into fights very quickly.
@@Dndoo for me there's just way too much rng when there are so many teams on top of each other.

It'd be nice if Straight Shot had few more squads but overall, some games are fairly chaotic, some are slow and boring. Personally, i like it. Its the only mode that can make me switch from Ranked exclusively. I didn't play 3'os revival but regular pubs simply suck - land, kill few dummies, rotate for 10 minutes hoping to find a moving target.
I agree.... Trios Revival was brill. Straight shot is disappointing. Ranked is shit solo, trios is boring.
Self sabotage by Respawn removing the best modes.
If they had solos, trios revival more ppl would stick around

Am I the only one that hears the music playing through the entirety of straight shot games? It literally happened when they first brought the mode in season 20 and they didn’t even fix it. I literally have to turn down the whole sound of the fucking game.

Mode is ass and nothing but an RNG simulator. Playing with fully kitted guns is booooring and being forced to land edge of map is so painful. And half the time the other team just runs away from the fight😂 If they really wanted to make it fun and fast pace they would force everyone to hot drop a single poi
the mode is more fun BECAUSE you can't hot drop, I hate all the rng involved with that, other teams, can't find weapons, can't find attachments, everything is fixed with straight shot
@@eco_2128if you can’t find a weapon and die, just requeue? Or you can land somewhere else close by and rotate in.

@@eco_2128 I’m telling you that the problems that you have with revival can be very easily mitigated, not to mention you may have better luck next round if it’s all about rng. From my experience, I was able to get decent guns every round easily.
Fully kitted guns is indeed what makes it fun and unique. If i wanted to run and loot for ages, i'd just stick to ranked. Now you land, grab a gun and have a team to fight with 2 more teams in next POI. Well, it'd be cool if they make it 3 teams per POI just for the extra chaos but still, far better than regular pubs.
