    Nice! How exactly do you do the “burn in” of the tang? Would be a cool video! I’m trying to figure out a good way to do it...

      TeamDiscus well it's basically quite straight forward, you just heat up the tang and press it into a pre - drilled hole

    Why braze the ferrule rather than weld it?

    Billhooks are very common here in asia they usually crappy,but this is high quality blade!
    And what is ferrule for?,never see that in here

      I'm Bored the ferrule is there so the handle doesn't split in use, and the hook on it is for carrying on the belt
