I know this is fairly basic stuff but honestly, great way of teaching, easy to understand, CPT is really nice to use. Thanks so much for these videos :)
Too good man! In our college (oen of the tier-1 engineering institute of India), the profs used cli to explain and made this hell by complicating it with the commands. This video is beautifully explained and demonstrated keep it up! Tomorrow is my lab exam and this helped a lot
13:25 if you wonder why LAN 2 didn't broadcast the mess in second attempt is because: See when in the first attempt, the message is sent to all the nodes by the switch, the router also received it. Since it is the correct recipient, it forwards the packet to the destination switch. The destination switch broadcasts it to all devices in LAN 2, to create it's own mac address table. Then in the second attempt , the exchange succeeds.
Cisco packed tracer the best I T leaning institutions, thank you very much for your kind dedication ,I now have learned something new from the teaching.
Theory in action. You wont get this anywhere. I did courseras IT support specialist course. And still didnt have clue how things work. Now its crystal clear. Thank you so much.
OMG you are amazing Guider, I wish we would have a lot of teachers in Rakhine State, Myanmar such as you. Why I am saying is that the one who has a doctorated degree even could not explain the student to be more clear about the Hub Vs the Switch Vs Router. I would have said the teacher has low quality and does not any idea how the way is easy to understand. We are wondering why they all Myanmar Government Professional(computer) Teacher are not always try to find much more better way for the students. I've got Computer Diploma certificate but we did not have a chance to learn a part of networking, Hardware and etc. The only they taught was about basic DTP which mean only office package for the Office work. I hate the way they do all the time as I mention above. Now I have basic understanding about networking in CPT. Thank you so much for your help and am really appreciated your kindness.
It's really appreciable. Impressed on your way of teaching. I have a doubt. I have a LAN in my home with TP link router. The one end will connected to ISP provider and other with my LAN. My question is where is the Switch in my network to establish the end nodes. Appreciate the helping hands🎊
At 12:35 it first failed, and then suddenly started getting a reply because the table isn't filled yet, so its broadcasted first and after getting all the required information, it started getting replies.
I have a doubt. Following the diagram at 3:58, after the ip addresses have been assigned, what happens if we connect the 2 switches together? It shouldn't communicate right as the ip addresses has already been established and they are considered as different networks. And switch can only communicate within 1 LAN. Anyone who can help me understand how this situation will play out?
Thank you.
I am learning all this thing in less than 15 minutes which would take hours upon hours if I learn from books.
So thank you again.
This man is a living legend. I honestly spent $3500 on my uni to take intro to Networking and got nothing in return. I learned a lot from him.
Your teaching style is just awesome sir!♥️

but he did not show us the router sending the packet to the second network

I think you are right. All devices in LAN must have IP addresses which belong to same subnet.
These videos are the best!!!
Thanku so much sir 🙏
great talk!
too helpful love from canada💕🇨🇦
@12:36.. The first packet failed to get the ARP information.. once arp table is updated in the router it gets a ping response..
