I was disappointed the documentary didn’t show an example of the houses built if Totoro. I also understood that some live on floating islands of Totoro which I was eager to sea. Perhaps it no longer occurs, there was no mention of them even. The film seem to
    stop short without completing!

This documentary fails to capture the spirit and Soul of Peruvian people here. It seems you went in with an idea to find suffering and hardship and you found it. While physical and material life is hard for most rural Peruvians, that is not the only thing or even the most important thing about them. You've completely missed the cosmovision that permeates everything they do, think, believe. Everything is alive. There is a recipriocal nature with all of life, past, present and future and it's all about being in harmony with the cosmos. everything has life. Including the rocks and the land and the grass and the lake. Lakes are considered Nustas, or powerful feminine deities. and the mountains are Apus (pronounced Ah-poos, not A-poos). And they protect the people. If you can't even get the pronuciation of their most important Spirits right, what else have you missed?

I'm not sure if this is an earthquake zone I don't believe so but I had a vision when I awoke this morning as a similar-looking city as to that old lake Titicaca sliding into the water I pray I'm wrong

Please do your due diligence and at least TRY to pronounce their words correctly. Quechua is not pronounced KayCHEWah, not even close actually. Ah-pus, not Ay-pus. I get that your British but your empire is dead. Its time now to try to show a little respect for these cultures
