u said absolutely nothing about what u do. u just look at a computer then eat and chill ? talk about what tasks ur doing like budgeting and forecasting or ad hoc analysis or DCF or what ya know
@@AhBoyInUSA yeah but I needed that, I see all these other day in the lives and sometimes they do everything but work. Your workday seemed real and I needed that because I’m going to college next year and have to decide if I want to go into tech or more into finance. I’m also considering doing something called management information systems which is basically a mix of business and it. Do you have any advice as someone who is already working in those fields?
Appreciate your kind words! I find what you are majoring matters less and less to future career as information is easily accessible and can always self-learn stuff. I would say pick the field that you enjoy - focus on maximizing your college experience and do what will make you happiest! Leverage summer internships to explore diff roles and find out future career paths.
Could you tell me if I need a Finance degree to get started as an Investment Banking Advisor or Analyst, or if online courses from platforms like Coursera would be enough? I have a Bachelor's in Petroleum Engineering and 2.5 years of work experience, but I don't really enjoy it. I have a natural interest in business and finance, and I've been selling laptops since I was 16, cars since I was 21, and even tried real estate with cold calls. I'm quite outgoing and talkative, with strong analytical skills.
Hi man, very unclear video man can you provide more details? How did you get in Big Tech did you do a bachelors degree or Mastgers? How many years of working experience what skills do we need? Which coffee you prefer haha lol
Hey man, I would love to connect on LinkedIn to learn more about what you do. I want to get into big tech as a financial analyst. Please let me know if that works for you, and I’d be happy to reach out! Thanks :)
Going to the office vs working remotely, which one do you prefer? and what's your favorite remote work location?
Remote!
Arent people who prefer office work mostly trying to network and get promoted sooner

Can I still be a financial analyst if I don't want to work on finalizing financial statements, a task typically handled by Big 4 accountants?
Usually accounting work are centralized in big companies, financial analyst rarely need to do those
