I think I have seen old yoyo quilts from the 1930s a long time ago. Kinda interesting gadget to make them. Might make a cool little purse project. The scissors were totally you. 😊
I'm so glad other people think I need rainbow scissors too 🤣 I think the yoyo tool will go on my list for things to try this year.
I have a snowman wall hanging where I used a red yo-yo to embellish the black hat. I’ve also embellished other wall hangings with yo-yos. If you put a separate piece of fabric face up inside the yo-yo, you can create a sort of rose window. I don’t have a tool. I just use a piece of cardboard to create a circle that I trace around and then cut out.
Who needs a tool when you have the power of DIY ingenuity? You're a crafting wizard! I like the idea of the contrasting fabric to peek through the yoyo too. Thanks for the idea
I was confused about the yo-yo maker as well until I realized it is used to make the snowman's buttons. As with you, making yo-yos will be a new adventure for me. Looking forward to it.

Yo-yos aren't hard. I've only made them for embellishments. But, never a large project.
That is good to hear. I doubt they're hard... but it feels like one more thing that I would really love to make, but question if I have the time to devote to it or not 🤣
