This is honestly one of the best matches of the entire WTTC 2013.
The rally at 7:05...That is Kenta when he is playing at 100%.
Kenta's backhand improved a lot. He backhand shots are more controlled and precise. He gave Ma Lin a hard time also winning 4-1 against Ma Lin. He is the rising star of Japan.
One of the most beautiful matches I've seen in months.
Samsonov is a powerful player
his serves are one of the best
they are renowned as are his
blocks. He is one of the best.
Dat slice at 3:27 was insane. What amazing defense from Kenta. He's finally started to risen in the ranks these days ^__^

Matsudaira played some insane backhands in the 5th. Close game but he deserved to win.

Am I high, or did that crazy point at 1:44 end with a Samsonov celebration, an edge for Matsudaira and the point going to Samsonov? Or did that come off his top or something?
Samsonov could have won on another day-still Matsudaira is a very good player.

Right, Kenta is a street fighter who smoked Ma Lin in 5 games, took a 2 game to 1 lead on Xu Xin, and had a couple of good breaks on Samsonov. What planet do you live on? The end result is all that counts and nothing else. Street fighter or not Kenta took advantage of more point winning opportunities on Samsonov than Vladi did in return. Kenta fights in your mind as if he has no fear. Talk your BS in two years after Matsudaira adds on 250 points. He rose 80 with this one tournament.
