Tonight I played from my cell phone download, Come As You Are, for my 88 mother who is very frail. She has several health problems, to see her face as she listened to the words of this song, I saw a longing for rest and Peace that came from her heart! I watch her each day struggle to continue on in this life, and how so precious she is to me! Crowder thank you for your words of comfort that God will be there for her no matter what the struggle is.
"Wanderer come home, you're not too far...." For so long, I felt that I was too far. Then He stretched out His arms and died, and brought me back home.

Gods there when no one else is he's is the Almighty he shed his blood on the cross for you and for everyone else he loves you more than you could ever imagine. Wonderful, wonderful song and arrangement. I just stop and pause every time i hear it. I have a question for Kenny, the amazing steel player. I have an 8-string lap steel, on which I've tried to slowly learn to play the PSG chords and fills in C6 and B6 and it just falls short. Can you tell me what tuning you are using for this song, maybe I'm way off and it's a 9th tuning? Then maybe I can somewhat adapt to it on lap. Thanks again for this beautiful piece....dan
