btw twisted dandy's original mechanic was that if any machine was completed, he would b-line straight towards it and try to catch whoever completed it. it broke though so they are reimplementing this feature in the next big update

Twisted Goob’s hands were supposed to be bigger but they wouldn’t work properly, therefore reducing the size
Valid, specially about making Dandy's more threating. Although, I dont think increasing his speed would be necessary? I dont know but I always felt like he is fast as toodles, if not, a tad bit faster.
Then about Astro and Vee, both are extremely underwelming compared to Pebble and Dandy.
Astro - support twisted, doesnt do much of a threat. Although, he could use some of his magic to make our stamina regen less effective or maybe make us lose more stamina by running.
Vee - buy youtube premium and shes a normal Twisted, gg. Now jokes aside, Vee should do something else other than just ads. She could probably utilize her controller to mess up with the machines or probably even create something that stuns, slowdown or even drains our stamina.
I dont know if anybody said this, but for Twisted Dandy, I'd change the flower idea, for him being alerted to your location every time you collect a tape, after all, "Those tapes were never yours."

That would be VERY easy to dodge. Just dont collect tapes and you'll be completely fine.

I also have some more criticisms of this game!
1. I feel like this game is to on the wire of Cartoony and Grey. I feel like they should make the characters either more bright or slowly make as you progress the floors make it slowly get more ruined and runned down!
2. Also, I think there could be more music, such as ambiance and Chase music too add more intensity.
3. I think the menus and UI should be more colorful like the characters, also I think during the selection screen it would be really cute if it said [PLAYER] STARRING AS [CHARACTER] instead of Just the player and who their playing as
I LOVE the idea of the areas getting more run down as you go!

@@wooddawood I feel like it would greatly help the game from getting stale! With like floor 1-5 still having powerful and being colorful, Floor 6-10 having lights go out but still fine, Floor 11-15 being a bit darker and moldy, and Floor 16+ being completely abandoned

I had an idea for a twisted vee and rodger.
Vee: When she is active, during escape, the other elevator would open up too being a decoy. It would have green arrows pointing there as a slight indicator incase you forgot where you came from (so dont follow the greens)
Rodger: instead of being stationary, when he gets opened up he would run around until he doesnt see anyone for 10 seconds. When that 10 seconds goes down, he would return to capsule form.
And as soon as you get up to a decoy, it slams and the sign says “FOOLED YOU!!!!” With a vee laughing
@@BugsbyBudthey could also do a reference to the “YOU ARE AN IDIOT” Virus with multiple adds appearing on your screen and every time you try to delete one more will appear, until they completely cover your screen and you die

For twisted goob, I feel like it's supposed to look normal to throw players off.
Oooh I have run ideas!!
Boxton: Runs in a normal 🏃-way but his gear spins faster and faint music can be heard.
Poppy: Runs in a normal 🏃-way but she makes quiet /pop/ footstep noises and her smile widens.
Toodles: Her arms move behind her back kind of like the same way Sonic runs.
R&D: Razzle looks ahead with a huge smile plastered on his face and Dazzle looks around anxiously. They'd run in a normal 🏃-way.
Goob: Goob puts his arms forward as if he's wanting to hug someone while he runs.
Scraps: She'd hold her tail while she runs as if she's about to toss it.
Shrimpo: Runs in a normal 🏃-way but has very heavy footstep noises.
Brightney: Her lamp constantly switches between glowing less bright and more bright. She runs in a normal 🏃-way.
Vee: Holds her mic and wears a mischievous grin on her face while running.
Astro: Exhausted look on his face, his blanket would open up and act like a cape.
Pebble: Keeps the same run animation I find it too cute to change.
I feel like making Astro come out of some portal when you fail a skill check would be cooler. Also maybe close astros eyes and have them have tiny tears coming out would be creepy. Also for the " despair zone idea " Astro could also quietly hum some sort of tune instead of his nighttime noises when he's there.
Also here's some ideas for running animations for the toons.
1. Boxten
Simple run ( like this 🏃) and boxtens gear would spin fast.
here's an idea, Twisted Astro will occasionally sleep at certain areas, like machines.
i guess that twisted toodles being mistaked as toon toodles is really cool and it actually make toodles more difficult. About Dandy is really cool your idea, i have to say that making a jumpscare only for him when he reach you could be magnific. Of course, a cool jumpscare, not like some shitty jumpscare that is inly his mouth movin'. Run animations is really a good idea, i wonder if it will be in the game and how they are gonna be. However, we have to consider that the game is still in alpha stage, so some things could change or completely taken off from the game, but i can't wait to see how the game gonna look when is fully finished. I really appreciated your video here, your ideas maybe woould be very helpful for the dev.
Aw, I have so many ideas I could add on to or change, such as -
- Adding onto the "Astro Despair Zone", his active ability gives 50% stamina to toons around him, so why not make Twisted Astro have the passive ability that drains stamina from toons around him? That makes him more threatening to be around.
- Twisted Toodles' design choice from the back looks a lot similar to regular Toodles, so why not add ichor or tears into it to look really cool :D
- The new toons, items, and trinkets main idea for me: Stunning.
Here me out, if there was a mechanic to be able to stun a Twisted with an ability, item, or trap, then the game would be way different to some other games out there.
"Having new stunning abilities would be cool, yeah, but how would you make it work?" You might ask, but it would actually be pretty simple.
Make it so stunning is an effect. Each Twisted will have that effect for a set amount of time based on what Twisted they are. Main character Twisted would have less stun time, and Toodles/Shrimpo would have the most. Making running away a good option, while also having a backup plan while you're in a corner is something not a lot of games have that often, making it original.
And that's my take on all this, I really like the game and mechanics already, just adding some feedback :D

I actually have an idea for vee, since she's a tv she could show different images on her screen, and maybe when she's chasing you she starts making the tornado warning sound to make it more panic inducing

I don't think dandy needs to be that much tougher. Making him faster than toodles is ridiculous considering he one shots you
he should be a tiny bit faster so he doesnt look like hes going at a snails pace but also too fast would just be the equavilent of pebbles but way too hard. I agree

Wish they gave Shrimpo like a rewarding mechanic for playing the character, like extra ichor gain. It makes the character less rewarding to play with only the debuffs and just gives you bragging rights for making progress with a nerfed character

I have a funny badge idea to have two players using Scraps or Goob at the same time, and the badge is called Kinetic Collision, and basically to get it either:
Two Goobs have to use their ability on each other at the same time
Two Scraps have to use their ability on each other at the same time
Which causes the two players to collide and cause a explosion of confetti and stun the both players involved in the collision for 5 seconds, and the two players are also given the badge.

I think vee should disable the machine for 30 seconds or more. It would make for a much worse combo if you get ads during a skill check. And for the sleepy effect something either like a worse blackout or a blurry screen would be quite nice. Another thing for dandy is he could do is do some kind of call when he sees you and alerts other nearby twisteds for them to patrol that area.
Honestly, once the game fully releases, i wish there was more modes, like sandbox (that would be called training mode) and nightmare mode (would be designed to be a hellspawn, but have increased rewards)
and player mode, being generic player mode.
i also have some ideas for the designs
twisted poppy's dress can be kinda torn apart and stained with ichor. i think giving her claws with ichor on them would be nice since she runs at u like a zombie. some scars on the arms, the bubble idea and a slightly different facial expression with ichor around the mouth could make her design a lot better
twisted toodles should drool. make her drool. make her look like a chihuahua that needs a rabies shot. give her claws too and she will be perfect
twisted goob looks like he's high instead of sad or anything, what if we made him crazy like scraps? different facial expression, ichor dripping down the side of his head, ichor on his claws and his hair tuft things being bigger and "ichorfied" could make his design better
twisted pebbles....... the twisteds are supposed to be corrupted with ichor, but i dont see any ichor on him. the only reason he is scary is because of how massive and fast he is, nothing else. slap on ichor on anywhere, make him drool like toodles and make him stare directly into ur soul like he dedicated his life into killing u, that would make him more horrifying
twisted vee............. they did her so dirty. the person who said that twisted vee looks turned is so right, she looks warped even. when i first saw her i just felt weird like shes some sort of thing that isnt supposed to be in this game, she feels so out of place. her left antennae thingy should be in the air, half of her tv screen should be broken with green eyes staring directly into ur soul while the other half is her looking at u like u called her 28 slurs, her bow should be torn apart, give her claws, more ichor on the arms and atrocious posture. also she should walk like a 170 y/o zombie and run like a person that is out of their mind.

Another thing that is annoying of how RARE the main twisteds are like you need to 100% reaseacrh on their twisted forms if you want to get them as playable charecters which SUCKS due to how rare the main twisteds are which is sad cuz the main toons are really good for pebble is really good when stalling twisteds due how fast pebble is vee is also good for showing were twisteds are and machines and astro is also good when restoring stamina its sad how good these charecters are but how rare they are i saw a person on youtube getting astro and one commenter asked how long it took 100% twisted astro and apparently IT TOOK 20 HOURS FOR THIS PERSON TO 100% REASEARCH ON HIM WHICH IS ALMOST AN ENTIRE DAY the fact it took that long just to get ONE MAIN TOON WHICH MUST SUCK i just hope the devs update the game like any main twisted toon appers on a certian floor or the game passes will help us cuz lets be honest we dont want to sit on are coumpter all day just to get a main toon we want😒

@@Demsfordemos by the time you get a main to 100% research, the other ones are most likely near too. I'd recommend focusing on masteries so it doesnt feel like a waste of time, get to really high floors (15-25).
brightney and rodger are honestly the best in extraction considering they dont suffer from any after effects like vee
but rodger is better since you get 100% in half the time ish
i honestly like how hard it is to get the mains, the longer it takes to get them, the more chances of a player playing the game more so they can achieve getting the main, plus the challenge is nice, we can't have the game be too easy, plus I think it would make sense considering how good they are with their abilities.
@@hmmbutwhatif I usually use Rodger for more research points and for more ichor, he's my favorite to play when I'm alone or grinding to get ichor or research.
funnily enough, at least going by the wiki, Twisted Dandy DOES have something to make them more special. Just currently bugged/ not implemented.
Where Twisted Dandy can instantly start heading towards any machine that have just popped. Still not much, but considering the risk factor is getting ONE SHOT, just increasing the chance of getting in a chase vs Dandy is more then enough
oh yeah, if i had any criticism. I feel like scraps and goob should have a sound cue of SOME KIND, doesnt have to be in your face. However, especially during blackouts, it is WAAAY to easy to get spotted and pretty much instantly lose a heart with how little time you have to get behind cover.
When my brother watched this, he said “she said she looked at kids gyatt” since toodles was a child💀
Twisted Vee just looks like she saw something really disgusting
Honestly, Vee's design never bugged me until you mentioned it. You aren't entirely wrong. I'm not sure how to best change it though, I get what they were going for with the design but if they want that design to work they gotta make her look more corrupted and maybe even make her talk sassy and sarcasticly taunting her prey. I think breaking her screen is a good idea. Though I dislike the idea of little red eye dots, reminds me of EXE too much and he's kinda boring. It'd probably just look like a Final fantasy dark mage or something... Just make part of her screen broken open with a void of sorts behind it and make the other half red with cracks over it instead of green. Like make the green face red instead. I think that might work better, after all, that's what they usually do with green colored robots. Green for good, and red for bad... it worked with fnf's hex, maybe it could work with... wait... that's a good idea actually I think, if we just look at hex's change in his little mod then maybe some inspiration could be taken and improve the design somewhat. As for a mechanic change? I'd give her floating drones that hover around and if you move when near them, it'll alert her to your location, kinda like with skull merchant from DBD. I think this could include working on the pumps but that might be too oppressive.
As for the pump, it does make a sound when they mess up. You've never heard it? I can't describe it myself but I've heard it a few times when they mess up. Maybe test it.
I'd love running animations.
I think they could probably rework the health bar too, like instead of 3 hearts, make it 3 hearts but split into two halves each. This way, you can add a new healing item, and vary the damage for each twisted(Ex: Twisted Dandy doing 3 points of damage/ taking 1.5 hp)

there should be an orange light on the machine when people are busy on the machine incase it’s a blackout or the player is hard to see so other players don’t waste time reaching the other player, this has happened constantly with my friends when we play
Astro is supposedly a shy person, so let’s make them have an area that you cannot walk into or they will give chase against one person the entire floor. when the player is attacked Astro will return to the area they were once in. similar to RnD, except they give chase and it doesn’t matter if you walk or run.
last of all, there should be a drop mechanic where you can drop items you don’t need. so if you have a bandage you can gift it to a fellow player who is in need.
the drop mechanic will never be added
Twisted goobs pull should have a quick time event to get away and scraps should just lunge and have a bigger hitbox literally all they need to do to make those two ACTUALLY HAVE COUNTER PLAY OTHER THAN HIDE FOR THEM TO GO AWAY
Dandy Should lose a peddle every time he gets a kill
And every petal he looses gives him 5% more speed

ehhhhhhhhhhh i think goob shouldhwve a new mechanic,not design.hes too easy to die to.I say he streches out and flings himself at you,giving about a second to escape.After that he could become aggro for 10-20 seconds.
My critics about character designs:
Vee too much looks like Vox from hazbin hotel (EVEN her personality) also they should give her some greeny dress bc shes a show host yk yk? She looks naked or boring to me rn...
And Goob, goob is so irrelevant! bc he have yellowish body but red-blue arms. and HE LOOKS LİKE POPPY PLAYTİME PROTOGANİST WİTH GRABPACK- 😅 he looks boring to me too... Atleast do some of his bodyparts blue-red.
Scrabs... Scrabs looks boring too, i would like smth colorful on that kitty since shes so wacky artist. But no, put smth boring color like pastel yellow and some red parts and a white dress, BORİNG! 😅
Another character, Astro:
Astro LİTERALLY looks like DAYCARE ATTENDANT from Security Breach. İdk why but i think developers of Dandy's World stole or (ALMOST) traced other characters/ideas from other popular mascot horror games/shows. Astro is also really boring character, thry thought fans would love his character bc he's a moon like Security Breach... He looks unattractive and boring to me bc his head is round... Like they put accesories such like moon mask, pajamas and stuff to a DAMN MANNEQUİN, he looks too default mannequin! 🤬
Anyways, enough roasting... Maybe İll update this if i get more dissatisfied.

Tbh I predicted Rodger very well because when I just started playing and activated him I noticed how his eye turns red and I assumed “he’s gonna burn with a ray like we do with ants” I tested theory and I was right ;-;

I do feel that the main character twisted act similar to the regular ones. (Minus pebbles because they are actually so hard to deal with😭)
For vee, I feel like the pop ups should be more in quantity or at least more common to appear, and that they will damage you if they are on the screen for too long. Gives the feeling that you should close the ads as soon as possible to avoid losing hearts.
I think they should add the roblox voice chat thing into the game so players can have proximity chat if you’re playing with friends, its hard to just type becuase you could get caught by a twisted if you sit and type for too long. This is especially a problem on mobile

I like dandy’s world. My one problem with it is that it’s grindy. Atleast I found it quite grindy. Now I’m not very good at the game so maybe it’s really easy to get ichor when you reach further down but I found it quite grindy and hard to get lots of ichor and also I found research a little grindy although still manageable. Also I think maybe they should nerf some twisteds like scrap and the magnifying glass guy attacks really quickly and also make new things for the magnifying glass guy twisted(Rodger I think his name was?) like you suggested. And I feel like they didn’t explain how to research well enough it just says “encounter twisteds” although what does it mean by that? Does it mean be chased by one? Or maybe just be on a floor with one? Or just see them in your screen? And I could imagine it getting repetitive. I personally haven’t played enough to reach that point though. And it is still in alpha so I’d imagine if people complain about these things it might be fixed.
Its already in the name, "Encounter" meaning find one or meet one.
Just use rodger its very fast to get research if u reach floor 10+

1. Too hard to get ICHOR, you have to spend hours just for 1000
2. Goob and scraps are impossible to deal with during blackouts
1. That's what makes the game challanging and more harder, personally it being TOO easy would lose players (atleast in my opinion??)

But right now the goob/scraps + blackout combo isn’t a challenge it just ends your run if you’re unlucky.
The biggest problem is the fact that getting a blackout on later floors basically kills your run. You need a brightney to even stand a chance. Look at any high floor video, they are all using brightney

i completely agree, and it looked like you stole my thoughts and ideas.
I think more animations and facial emotes could add to it, it would bring more life and make twisteds more scary. For example you think there is an issue with Twisted Toodles looking to similar to regular Toodles, have a animation play when she stops at times making her skittish and look left and right quickly, maybe a second animation where she crouches down for a moment.
For Vee I feel like her face screen being broken and dripping of ichor out of it with wires would be cool, and put a camera above the screen considering her face is smashed in so she can see.
Astro should get a perk rework. I have a concept call syphon in which he has a radius and if you enter it your stamina drains while he progressively gets faster.
For warning other players a machine failed have the light flash for the duration the machine can’t gain progress have a symbol you can see thru walls to tell the check failed like Daybreak 2
twisted toodles has the attention span of an ipad kid

- Grinding isnt that hard....BUUUUT so many stuff is so OVERPRICED its just annoying and not fun when that happens

Something i would like to point out about Twisted Rodger, Vee's and Brightney's ability will NOT detect him even if he is out of the capsule...least from what i can remember on that last part. The good thing about that is you'll know he is in the map right away if u use said abilities at the very beginning right when the doors open
I feel Like if they dont re implimant Twisted Dandys Mechanic of charging towards completed machines, he should work like the Reaper from the Persona series, showing up if you take too long on a floor
I like the idea of twisted dandy, but his speed doesn't needs to be changed. The fact is that he one-shots you + getting away from his eye sight is already enough. But I agree with that flower ability though. ☝
what if the twisted have form like they get more twisted when u go deeper into the floors

i experienced pebbles head on alone, in a black out and after that got Vee right after em' and thought they were common because that was my first time playing and i was stoopid at the time, also i knew what to do and got that far because ive played other horror game exactly like it so i knew to avoid them.

This is a very well put together review of the game, pointing out genuine flaws while remaining respectful, the only change im conflicted on would be dandy’s buffs, on one hand being faster than toodles and one-shot might be a little too harsh, but on the other hand you do have to go out of your way to find him. No seriously if you look very closely at Twisted pebble you will notice that his torso is an olive💀
Dandys world is literally just pibby glitch X dandys world, exept the glitch takes the form of ichgor. Amazing take but make the twisteds a bit more "twisted"? add more ichgor to make it seem like their being corrupted, based off what we are being shown. Also i agree to buff twisted dandy, for how big he is the 1 shot isnt enough.

I have a character suggestion too
So in the pictures there is a butterfly toon that isn't in the game.
So what I think/want that's characters stats and abilities to be is
2 health
1 skill check
4 stamina
5 speed
4 stealth
4 extraction speed (you would blow wind with your wings for the wheel turning)
And its abilities would be
Whirlwind: Pull all nearby players near you with wind (the animation would have you flapping you wings)
Gust: Push all nearby enemies away (unless they hit a object)
Pretty bland in my opinion but what can i do? it would cost/require

Maybe it should be 4000 ichor, 50% Flutter (that’s the butterfly’s name) research, and just encountering twisted Dandy. It’s hard to get even 20% research on Dandy.

I'm gonna be honest here when i first encountered twisted dandy i thought he was a fast enemy in Pebbles speed that instant kills you when his hitbox touches you but i was wrong
My criticism is that the game dose not credit minus elevation. Minus elevation is the original game and what inspired inspired game
If you want some more stuff while having same concept then try out minus elevation on your free time
I've heard a bit of discussion that Minus wasn't an inspiration to this game. I can't confirm if it's true or not though.
i think the debuffs make the mains that slobht bit harder, in my opinion

I love dandy's world my only problem with this game is: it takes YEARS for you to get enough ichor for a toon, and that the game doesn't give me research on certain characters like twisted peddle and keeps giving me research on characters that I've already completed, and I think the chances of "main characters" appearing should be higher, and they should low the chances for shrimpo

This game really remembers of another game, but i don't remember its name,
Anyways, hello. Today its the second day i been playing this game. And today i had the "facing pebble and scraps experience" alone. I discovered that dandy is a enemy, and tried spawning him the next 6th floor, but instead is was pebble and scraps.
Anyways again. I may not know everything, i don't have any other character except booxter (that how you pronounce it?), but if this game its like that game who knows the name, that game had a boss fight kinda room after 5 floors every time. I think if they can't think of a different room for the multiplys of 5, the make the blackout not happen based on luck, but on each 5 rooms that pass by
I’m still looking back at that one twisted dandy run video and when twisted dandy was on the screen the big back theme song played and I was laughing so hard😭😭😭 (the description said why does bro look like the hunchback of notredame and that made me laugh harder)
These are good ideas, but there are already a lot of heavy Twisteds in the game. I like the idea of changing some mechanics, but adding to the speed of movement in some of them sets me up.(Like I play characters with speed/stamina less 3 so its really hard to run away sometimes). And it seems to me that Goob and Scraps need a little weakening (The player does not have time to react to them somehow if you run out of nowhere or from a corner) I suggested something like a timer over their head (2-3 seconds) and when time runs out they use their ability.
As for me, Iwould like to see how much time I have to run or hide from them.
This game IS in alpha as of the current time I’m typing, so of course it’ll have lots of problems, bugs, glitches, you name it

You guys remember the doors scattered around the map that says "STAY AWAY" (or at least I think so. I don't remember what it actually says)?
So what if, when all machines are completed, twisted Dandy opens every fake door with each one having something that tells you its fake and if someone enters when the panic timer is over, the elevator fills up with Ichor, killing whoever is inside ? And on the next floor, replace the twisteds that would've been on that floor with the ones that got trapped equal to the amount of twisteds that floor would've had if nobody was trapped.
For example, if a boxten dies in a fake elevator, replace him with the brightney that would've been on that floor with a twisted boxten.

It's a 7.5/10.
I like the entire game in general but my complaints are:
1. Ik machines are slow to make it harder and give enemies a chance to sneak up behind you if you are caught lacking but it takes TOO long.
2. Few different floors (Ik the game is in alpha. When the full game comes out I might change this)
3. Toddles
4. Some enemies keep focusing on specific players until they run out of stamina and die
5. Some twisteds should be buffed like Astro, Dandy and Vee and Big Dawg should get nerf.
6. Most card buffs are WAY too small.
7. In my opnion Twisted Dandy is too rare for a character who already has requirements to be encountered
8. People who just talk in the lobby and never enter the elevator
100% agree on all of those! Although, sadly the 8th critique cannot be changed by the devs. I will say I tend to see people gather up around the middle for a bit and then everyone runs to an elevator to get a full server!

If you don't run in the circle he's harnless

Dandy's flower idea doesnt sound spooky in the slightest, what about this instead? Every 30 seconds, Dandy will be aware of your location. You have to click your Tapes icon to drop 30, which he will go and pick up. This will once again hide your location.
How about flowers that alert EVERY twisted on the floor to your location the moment you touch them for Dandy's mechanic
