Thank you for watching 🥳
Nice, I like thicker gage strings
My opinion is that for less established acoustic players the 11’s would be easier to play in order to build up finger strength gradually etc. You sound great, thanks for sharing this demo with us all. 😉👍🏻
Definitely see what you mean with the bass coming through, particularly in the higher end :) Love your fingerstyle guitar!
Thanks pete!
well, it's funny, I'm playing Elixir 11 Customer lights... let set, was a Martin treats lights in 12..they didn't ;last long at all... nice but, proof.. and thinking of going up again w/ Elixir 12's but, it's so funny to see your YT video on this, I'm right at changing strings..(my martin Dreadnot also needs bindings repair. I was so happy to see the quick turn around on the strings change.... I was "wow, that was really easy"! I've grown very fond on my Martin OM-28 Custom MD. I have a Matin dread not but, can't put this down. Check one out... Cheers
Thanks for lesson. ❤
Nice playing sir! Really liked your style
What guitar model do you have?
does your guitar in low action set up?
Seems like it is person to person and how heavy or light of a player you are . Finger picking or picking and so on . Thanks for the video
11’s
11 for fingerpicking
Hey! Struggling figuring out good nights gone from the new paper kites album. So many guitars happening but they all sound so good! Please help!
Hey marco! Thanks for the suggestion i love the paper kites will definitely give it a listen
amazing skills! may i ask, can you do bends with 11s?
Asking here too. I've tried to research some few things and they recommending 10 but I'm afraid the warm tone won't be there and thinner strings on acoustic breaks easily. I'm wondering if 11 is a sweet spot
Yes, but it's hard to master
11s are much easier to bend than 13s or even 12s. Downside is that in addition to their thinner less full sound they tend to feel a bit gummy like rubber bands in my opinion.
True d'addario is way better than elixir, elixir is not worth it anymore.
